Guess you're the lucky one then.

I was just stating that before you found out about his accounts on other forums you were going off his account on this forum as a means of payment and identification of the person..

If this didn't happen you would have not looked at his other account or being doing research off him.

I dunno J, but before I transfer money I want most contact details.. including a working phone number and generally a copy of a license or some other identification.

Especially with an amount like $300...

xx

Pm me all information you have available for addition to the bad traders list please.

i hope you actually do list him in the bad traders list, i am involved in this one http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...60#entry3676131 which was locked and never listed on the bad traders list, pretty pointless having a list when it is not updated.

Hey guys found same ads as bikeman on boostcruising under the name of exaboy84. He has been a member since 2005 and has exactly the same stuff for sale as bikeman did.

Any one who is good with computers can you post up links

Had a quick look and I don't see any connection?

We need to be pretty sure of who we are accusing here.

If you check out what bikeman was selling ie stereo gear, the exact same ad was used for yusefs ad exaboy84. and bikeman uses the same account number as rxhvn. If you click on the links above bikeman was a scammer in Jan

http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....=262648&hl=

This is the link that shows the same alpine system for sale as bikeman from sau that turned out to be a scammer and bikeman used the same bank account details as rxhvn. Also he has posted does anyone know how he can order a phone card online. In his posts as exaboy he asks for your mobile or he wont reply. His stereo that he was selling as bikeman is formatted and written exactly the same and he has just bought a skyline and has problems with it so was told to come on sau. Seems to be a bit of a coincidence.

Have sent him a pm to see if i can contact him to see if he gives any of the same bank details or ph number, as the phone no he gave was still ringing today.

Hi guys

It will be a waist of time going to the police they will do nothing as 300 each to them isn't worth there while and resorses.

I gave them all my detailes for my grand and i havn't heard nothing from them.

I am sorry to say we all will have to be more vigalant.

stuart

Has anyone got any more details about this person?

He took $400 from me for a PS3 on boostcruising.

I have the bank details as you guys do, mobile phone number and IP address details.

I know the bank account is a females. (bank told me). I have reported to the bank and the police, but that is in process and takes time.

If anyone has any more info PLEASE PM me, I will be going to his/her house and taking back whats mine. feel free to tag along if you are serious. im in Sydney western suburbs.

All information will be kept confidental and no police involved.

asshole i will find you and u better pray to God a bus hits u b4 i do.

his bank account details are : 732-052 585294 daniel rose its with West pack.

Are you sure the name is right? or is this the name he gave you.. ?

bank has told me when you transfer money, the name means nothing. all that matters is the acc & bsb #.

I was given the name Josef Jilson, another guy I know who was ripped was given daniel johnson. all with the same acc and bsb #.

the bank account is actually in a females name. she better pray she has money when I turn up.

If enough Skyline members kick up a fuss (which it looks like this has already happened) - just organise a 5-10 car cruise to the local police station in his home town - under federal law, they can look up his bank account and the bank has a duty of disclosure to the police which in turn will provide them with his home address - from there, let the head-knocking begin. Enough said - this is aweful!

That's nearly $1K that he's scammed.

Good to hear. I hate bastards like him... I mean $350.00 + postage isn't exactly that cheap considering that this particular model GPS costs around $460 brand new at Dick Smith or something - in fact, Harvey Norman had that 3-day sale thing a couple of weeks ago and they were $420.00 - that's a steal - I have one already so no use but GPS's are getting so cheap so $350.00 second hand isn't really that cheap - but he managed to scam 3-4 buyers... bastard.

Seriously, how the heck can he live with himself... I sold a $20.00 badge last week - have been flat out with work and, despite having communicated this to the buyer that I will post it this week for sure, I still felt kinda bad... how can someone just scam $1K+ from people and sleep at night... puzzles me.

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
