I don't like them. Would suit a Hummer or the like, but not a Skyline. Soon as I come off my P's I'm grabbing a Silver R33 turbo, whacking a nice kit on it, with a GTR wing and some nice 18" (maybe 19") Enkei rims. Nice and simple, gives the whole car a better look in my opinion, and doesn't just draw your eyes to the wheels.

:P :)

:)

Wheels make or break a car.

And...

Dont buy wheels to fit your car. Make the car fit the wheels.

Did some more work on my guards today. Almost finished, then to be painted. And to decide on a colour LOL

Wow, another 2 pages since I last saw this thread. haha.

Since this is an opinion thread, I reckon R31 drift pig has got the best fitment/wheels posted.

haha definately, ill throw this up but im at a disadvantage as i dont have flares like an R31.

I dont have flares either. They're standard, all metal guards, bashed with a 20 pound hammer and a guard roller. A lot of work went into them. 4 dor sedans cant use the bolt on flares off of coupes.

Guards like mine are possible on your car too.

You also have a huge adavntage having 5 stud, so better access to good wheels, and rear camber adjustment. I have 4 stud and live rear end, so my offsets/widths/guards had to be worked out to the mm.

haha yeh, stock flares.

yeh in that image i was at the limit, running a 225 tyre there, i chucked on a 235 and it started scraping. need to chuck some minor flares on and straighten up the camber.

Id put a 235 tyre on, wind in the camber to 1 - 1.5 deg,a nd roll/flare the rear to suit. A nice rounded flare like you see on S13's etc would look tuff as, especially if you keep running no kit, and just dump it on the deck. Just like this one...

And dont be a homo, keep your 33 gtr wheels silver. Look great against gunmetal paint, but keep the popo off your back because they look factory.

nah, i chose suspension integrity lol

dropping ur car to the floor is so try hard, biggest rice mod i can think of.

oh and the GTR rims im getting a free powdercoat, not gonna pass up the op for a free powdercoat.

Ok the reason I said about the poser drug dealers... Please explain to me how a 21 year old (as a lot of the people that enter their cars into autoghey are) can afford to mod their cars to THAT level?

Rich parents? sure I'll be willing to bet money a lot of them use their parents money. But in all honesty you can't tell me there isn't a flood of drug money financing those cars...

And I'm not talking about a stocko civic with dinnerplate chromies I'm talking about full leather interior, chromed/polished everything, huge turbo kits, airbrushed everything...

Also it might be your car or his car w/e... but you asked and also, some guys like to have sex with other guys... some people like the band Jet... some people think that dressing like tupac is cool. Is it? No, it's not. It might be your car but if you're doing it wrong, don't have a cry when someone tells you.

No offence man, but you seem very norrow minded. Heard of loans? Some people take these out to finance their cars.

You have 13 posts up and a few of these posts are wasted on flaming people. Relax man, find something positive to say about something within your first 20 posts.

Just saying...

Can't see too many banks giving your average 21 year old a 50 thousand dollar loan to paint a car and stick a big stereo in it... but that's just me. Obviously not everyone with a hugely modded car is a druggie but as I've said, you can't tell me that there's not a large amount of suspect money financing a lot of autosalon/etc cars.

:)

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
