IVE DECIDE TO PUSH THE MEETING DATE BACK,

BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY ORGANISED CRUISES WITHIN THAT TIME.

SO PLEASE CHECK THE FIRST POST, AND REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

SORRY PEEPZ FOR F**K AROUND

Awesome! I don't see anything happening then that would stop me from going except death and/or general incapasitation. *knock wood... or the MDF in which my desk is probably made from*

FIRST POST UPDATED!

Im in for a chat

Ohhh yeahh. Here we go. Since i've owned my Skyline i've realised put some blokes (you too Anna) together with their cars and watch them chat on for hours about front mounts, 1/4 mile runs, cop chases, dyno graphs, compressor housings, wheel offset, 4 cylinders vs. 6, 6 cylinders vs. 8, how to order a boost controller online, turn-in + apex + exit speed, HICAS lock bars, plug gaps... :/ watch this continue at the meet...

OMG!!! so true!!!!

Heres an example......

Conversation between Joey and Myself:

Me: "Hi Joey..!!"

joey: "Hi anna. So how long have you had your car now?"

Me: "Oh a few months"

Joey: "any mods?"

Me: "noo... but i was thinking of focusing on the cosmetics side you know.."

Joey: "Oh nice. Make it look hot."

We stand there and stare at the car for a few seconds lol

Then Albert interupts by calling on Joeys mobile.....checking up on us... :P

Me: "So...... what have you done to yours?"

Joey takes me around to the front of his skyline and pops the hood.

This could go on for a while so i'll leave it at that LOL!!!

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
    • That's my life. Past-Duncan has a lot to answer for
    • Yep four point harness. Mounted to a bolted in brace running behind the seats. Dont use it for daily driving tbh but good to have for when its needed plus it looks cool.
    • I had to double check the thread title r34 gtt offset advice lol. Thought maybe i posted on the wrong thread. 😂
