Yeah, not the biggest fan of that rear wing. Also seems like every kitted R34 that comes thru the auctions either has THAT rear wing, or the standard. Doesn't seem to be much choice.

Anyone know where to get a R34 GTR wing, need to know this if i get the GT-T cos it would be THE first thing i'd do :D

cheers.

Hey there E, you still O/S?

I dont see why Altia would copy Nismo so closely - they look the same, the skirts are definately Nismo ones, unless altia copied them too

If you ask me the bodykit and wing are all either nismo copies [altia] or nismo.

Yes I am still O/S, but at least now I know for sure that I will arrive in Melbourne on July 30 THIS YEAR! I am really looking forward to that!

No, it is not a Nismo. It is an Altia. So, there is no Nismo copy by Altia. I can show you the catalog if you like. Nismo kit is a totally different stuff and cost almost twice as much!

Please, update me! What have they done to get to 291? Last time I checked, they are still like in the low-200 regions...

Thanks, Dude...

HPI34T got custom low mount manifold and 3040 xtr turbo

Oh... they changed their turbo, that's why... Hmm... I might regret what I have done... Did they have bigger injectors or something? What about pistons and stuff? Thanks for the update, man...

Yes, Nissan is currently hooked up with three companies to offer their customization programme: Nismo, Autech and OWN which is ALTIA. Check this out: http://www.nissan.co.jp/CUSTOMIZE/

lol @ excel.

i did this weird thing once where i put masking tape all over my car to make gtr badge, stickers all over tha place and even cut out 4 lucky cup lid tops and stuck them over each of my 4 rear light stove tops. took a photo then lost it. was quite funny.

but yeh, the whole nismo kit is growing on me very much. i used to hate it, but abo****ely love it now. there is one that i always see at monash everyday hotr34 or something. used to hate it, but now love it. just like s15's and celicas... well with celicas it went from hate love and back to hate.

okay this is now the longest post i've ever made, so im gonna shut up about now...

no... now.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
