R34 Gtt Power Fc / Hks Speed Limit Defencer Question

Hi , im a bit of a newbie at this side of things, my question is as follows.

I have a Apexi Power Fc and Hand controller (yet to be installed) and i also have a HKS Speed limit Defencer (SLD) brand new still unopened.

Once i install the Power Fc will i even need to install the HKS to cut the speed limiter ? i.e doesnt the Power Fc do this function.

sorry if it sounds dumb, i just want to know so i can sell it if its not needed.

I'm pretty sure the power fc will do what the HKS SLD was going to do.

I have a power FC in my R34 GT-T i haven't found the speed limiter yet....lol
