pfft..

loljks, not a bad buy for 12k for sure - killer engine, love that strut brace lol, pretty sure you can get a power-fc for the auto/engine so GL with that

not everyone is 8 ft tall and needs a sunroof too stick there head thru just to fit in the car lol

cheers for the link, but ive been lurking on jzs147.com for a few months now, set up a new account the other week.

youll have to bring it out to one of the friday night cruises so i can have a looksee.

wonder how my wheels would look on it... :woot:

Yeh mate i'll have to do that for ya, one friday night when im not working.......

Sweet ride darren, ya actually bought this off my mate and ya got a pretty good deal. the car has never been thrashed (he drives like an old lady) But congrats on the new toy.

Yeh? nice work, seemed like a good lad, I saw him again when he was on his way to a wedding on saturday, he was questioning himself on why he sold it.........LOL

Cool ride Darren....now we just have to change Deluxe to Chico and get you some new threads & bling factor.

And some ladies to pimp out......... :laughing-smiley-014:

Yeh getting some 19s off Joe at Wheelworx in the next week or 2, going to order them in tonight!! dont worry dish will be there!!

UPDATE: Wheels should be in for this weekend, Joes sorted me out with a deal i couldnt refuse, Tint and alarm is going in tomorrow, and i was trying to get me some ISC coilovers of Mr Ryan, BUT they seem to be for the next model of GS300(Aristo) So im looking at sourcing some Tiens from Perth, car will then be looking the goods!!

Filled her up last night when the petrol light came on.......... BP Ultimate at $1.60 cost me $102 to fill up!! Jesus Christ!! But it should be about on par with the Skyline or slightly better!!

Once everything is fitted up i'll get some photos of it, and if i forget it will more than likely be at the All Japan Day!!

Also thinking of number plates, wanting to keep it to the R and S series, SO any ideas, These are a couple i have thought of:

RIS 705 (RISTOS)

RIS 147 (147 is the model number)

SIR 147

I like the RISTOS one the best at the moment!!

Was easy for you to nearly fall asleep in on Saturday while running around........ :)

clean as too

didnt realise how close to my work you actually worked hahahaha

Yeh mate, litteraly i could throw a stone and prob hit your back fence........ :laughing-smiley-014:

Obviously around the corner from you, but our main client is a couple doors down from you!!

actually if you threw a stone you'd piss off Tony from Trenchless (he's their mechanic in that annexe / shed out the back)

the car is clean as tho............looks good with a pair of stano mufflers hangin under the back

Spotted you Monday morning on West tce, looks really tidy sounds tough too.

Goodluck with it, keen to see pics with the new wheels fitted.

Hey fella, was that easter time?? You were prob out the front of HQ or the pizza joint??

nice car... did i see you in my stagea in the car park on the torrens where cafe lago and that golf course is on war mem drive on sat??

Yeh Chef that would have been me, I actually remembered your car the other day and was gonna post up in the spotted thread but couldn't remember where i had seen it.......LOL Yours looks the ticket, I've spoken to Matty(1J) and Cush about the AJD, and they said no worries, Will send in my app next weekanyways!!

Oh and i'm Darren that enquired about the Aristo on your website, the one with the gold BBS's, obviously im not looking anymore......LOL Cheers for your help anyways!!

looks good mate, you'll miss the skyline soon though :D

oh, did you buy this off a dude down south ways?

Yeh i know i'll miss the Skyline, but mymate is buying it back off me, and i'll still be able to spend some time with it, even get a drive everynow and then, Shane can be busy alot of the time running his business, so i'll prob drive it to Boostworx when it needs work!!

Yeh i did buy it off a guy down south, he has converted the other way and now bought a S15....lol

Oh and BTW here is a quick pic i took with my phone with the tint, coilovers and wheels on this arvo after it was fitted up..........

More pics will be done over the weekend!!

That is looking nice. I saw a dark blue standard Aristo driving down NE road today and it looked like ass, but with some dishy rims and a decent height they look really good. Time for a front mount, exhaust and some more boost :D

Have you got the low rear spoiler? the one that is a bit like a boot extension, i can't quite see it from the picture; because that makes them look quite good from the rear IMO.

EDIT!! Just saw your pictures on the first page that answered my question.

I have a front mount at home, and it has a exhaust, will then need a SAFC and we'll be cooking with gas..........

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
