Hey guys, I'm looking for some 4 stud rims that will fit my car. Anyone know some good sites to find them? Everywhere I look has 5 studs.

Also, just out of curiosity, how much would a 5 stud conversion cost? Including all labor, as little sister is probably more mechanically able than I am.

Thanks.

there are plenty around, you just need to search harder.

sites don't work - speak with drifters, drift suppliers, yahoo japan, etc.

i also have a set of sparcos 17x8

Yahooauctions Japan if you can handle the wait. I bought a set about 3 weeks ago and I'm getting sick of the wait. hahaha.

yeah but to buy it straight of yahoo auctions japan yourself you need to have a contact in japan that can purchase it and ship it for you

they wont ship to overseas buyers

thats why import monster is so good as they have their own group of people that do the purchasing and shipping on behalf of you

and they only take a small commission for the service...

Yep, I had someone bid on the wheels for me and also pack and send them to me. Only downside I saw to it was that when bidding was nearing an end, the emails of how much to bid would take too long to arrive and when they do arrive, the auction's ended. Whereas with import monster, you can do your own bidding.

What is your location? Tokage Racing Imports in Brisbane does good looking wheels in 4 stud with good offset/width and good prices.

These are 17*9 +20 on my cefiro, paid $1300 for a set of 4 brand new.

in Bronze and chrome 17x8.5's 4&5h +25 &+38 offsets, 17x9's 4/5hole +20offset and 17x9.5's 4/5hole +30 &+38 offsets aprox. cost of $300 +gst for the bronze and a little higher for the chrome.

www.upgarage.com < no bidding, just buy

www.upgarage.com.au / www.otomoto.com.au < Already in Aus :D

www.japimports.com.au

www.justjap.com

R31 forums have a few 4x114.3's getting around, but nothin special, I dunno what offsets and stuff are suitable for later model Skylines, but the aus 31's can go fairly low without guard rubbage (8" wide around the +20 mark), lip the guard and you can get another 10-15 mm out of it depending on your tyre choice.

NS.com and Boostcruising usually have some decent 4 stud gear if you can stand trauling thru their forums :P

Ahh thanks heaps, that helps alot.

Narrows down my choices so much. It's either black drift-teks or the black Rota Grid's

I seem to have a thing for the black on black.. Although white might look better.. What do you guys think?

    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
