Dash Lights Are Blown

Hi all

Have just installed a boost gauge (in R33) and now my dash lights or stereo/dash illimination wont come on

thought i would just have blown the fuse but it is fine ?

have checked every fuse in the boot, inside and under the bonnet

is there another fuse maybe in the back on the cluster ?

no havent checked the dimmer control

dont know where it is

is this something the importer puts in as i dont think my car has one

if you have one it should be located to the Right of your aircon controls and stereo. you'll need to take the front console surround off to check the wires etc.

ok pretty sure i dont have one then

now ive also noticed that my tail lights dont work, brake lights are ok but no tail lights

is the tail light fuse in the boot ?

Yep, that fuse is in the boot. Check it out

edit - and apparently that particular fuse for your tail lights is responsible for the lights in the dash too.

Funny enough, i have this same problem. Although my taillights are fine. I just havent gotten around to taking my console surround off to get to the dimmer switch to investigate. Was driving along last night turned right at a set of traffic lights, and and the dash lights started working again...

edit - and apparently that particular fuse for your tail lights is responsible for the lights in the dash too.

would that be the same as in an r34 aswell... and where in the boot?
