Thats the Blitz LM cooler right? Is the ARC the only other one like this?

Its a Chinese copy that Just Jap sell called 'Cooling Pro'

Blitz make an LM series, ARC also make a series of return flow and HKS also made one a few years back

Blitz all the way!! Fits like a glove

Don't fall for those cheep imitations. Pay peanut get monkey.

Im gonna go ahead and suggest you possibly used the wrong bracket? I think they come with 33 and 34 brackets.

As Nizmo_freek has the same fromt bar and same Blitz LM and his one doesnt show the return bar. Looks hot!

Maybe a monkey installed yours? :P Te he :D

OR, is it the angle of the photo? They are a little different....

Even so, looks MUCH better than the Cooling pro, there must be an easy fix for getting it lower!

Should have saved $350 and bought an R34 SMIC.

i DID have the r34 smic installed but i wanted more power than the smic is rated at.

to be honest with u guys, i would recommend that other people who are thinking of getting one to really save up that little bit extra for a product that fits easy with no fuss. reason i didn't was because i am tight on money and to save up for a decent kit will take me months haha (i blame my girlfriends collection of tiffany jewellery!). as for the height - i COULD make a new hole down the bar a little and it would have sitted alot lower making it look like the blitz kits BUT i am not TOO sure if i should be drilling new holes. plus, i just thought of it, but the pipes may not reach up to the stock pipe work anyways.

haha it is not the angle of the picture, it sits quite high as i have installed many other fmic(s) on other cars and they sit very low and again the kits i have fitted were pricey ones. to lower the core i would have to drill an extra hole down the bar but i am a little worried the pipes may not reach my stock piping if i do so but maybe i will try again over the weekend.

I wasnt talking about yours! Thats what the two photos are for LOL they are both Blitz. :(

We already established that the Stealth one just sits rediculously high on an S2 front.

Agreed tho, lowering it would be pointless as the pipes wouldnt reach. Still. Alot better than the R34 SMIC like mine, and your old one!

Just the photo angle. You sheep f**ker

I just bought a cooling pro type 2 normal cooler kit, and was told 33 and 34 kits are the same. me and my mate are stumped as to where the bracket connects cooler to body :S good luck lowering yours!

Uncalled for?

Just seen some other photos, and its not the angle.

Did you know aussie has more sheep per capita than NZ? :P

Nope its not the angle, that 1st r33 has the cooler in the correct place by the looks of it, i just cut my bumper alot differently to his.

Instead of cutting the bottom part of the bumper (i have circled which part i mean in the pic bellow) to far foward i left alot of it on there, i barely even cut that part down that much, so that bottom part of my front bumper actually slips right in between the bottom of the cooler and the bottom pipe, which is why you cant see it ,unlike the r33 below were they have cut a bit to much off the bumper.

if i am on the right track that you mean the bracket on top of the core, then it actually uses the existing bolt right under your latch to open the hood. also, if your core is a similar design to mine, you will also have two brackets on the bottom of the core which i did not use as they did not reach my body even with the extra brackets they gave. never done an r34 so maybe they have provisions for it or some other model car may. your fmic will not bend under high winds due to the lack of support at the bottom of your core as it should be sitting snuggly behind your intrusion bar which will prevent it from tilting and if you have guessed, ultimately breaking the bracket on top of the core.

just an update!

i finally had the time to lower my front mount and by the end of it i must admit i am quite happy with the result. this must be the most fiddely component i have ever installed. for all those of you with a keen eye, yes it is off centre but it was not possible to make a hole on the bonnet latch bracket due to width constraints. another note: GOD DAMN highway way driving is really damaging my bumper.

lol at the 2 sheep f*kers ahving a crack at eachother, i think these cooler kits are more hassle

than there worth... just save the little bit extra, bg deal if u have to wait maybe a month at least it will be centered an staight with little to no hassles..

As far as i heard and seen these kits are fine for the people with series 1 bumpers... Series 2 may require a bit of fiddling.

Anyway ive ordered one for my series 1.5.. lucky i got the series 1 front bumper so it should install with ease.

Ill let you guys know how it goes.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
