Kimi has to win dont forget.

It was an excellent result, and its a bit of justice to Ferrari as everyone is complainin about they had the best tyres etc, but Ferrrari have been serverly hindered all year from the Michelans.

So its justice me thinks.

GO SCHUEY.

Yeah, although I would like to see someone other than schuey win, he deserves it. They changed the whole format of F1 to stop him from being so dominant and he's still going to win another championship, well done.

Spewing about Webber cauz he would have got his first podium for sure, same with Button. Oh well. Should be a good race at Suzuka anyway.

:( payback time ;)

In fact the comentators made the same comment last night - montoya was 2 laps down in 6th and had to come 5th to have a chance to win championship.

Interestingly, Heidfield (5th) was directly in front of him (but only 1 lap down).....they suggested that montoya should take him out and inherit 5th....

I think webber either has bad luck or isnt the best in wet conditions when he is on the wrong tyres. I think it was in Silverstone 02' he touched the white line in greasy conditions and spun off. Brazil this year was driving around on drys and crashed out in a big way, on monday morning crashed out for a similar reason blowing a definite podium and possible 5th in the constructors championship. Webber is still an awesome driver but would somone such as MS have lost it in the same circumstances.

Interesting point. He has the speed in the wet, you only have to look at his results in the wet races from FF in Aus to driving F3 for Arrows thru to F1. He seems to get great results in the wet/gresy conditions, just look at wet qualifying sessions etc. Maybe just needs to show a little more caution.

Its hard to know the facts though, plenty of other drivers went off. In Brazil was it a rain thing, or was there somthing down on the track that made him spear off?

Webber wouldnt of finished on the podium due to the simple fact jaguar are on michelins! And take it easy on him he wasnt the only one to spin off when it got too wet. Enricco as for justise to Ferrari haha what a joke they dont deserve shite after all the moaning they made about the michelins being too wide i think the Michelin teams should protest the bridgestone wet just to fcuck them off. thats all Ferrari deserve sore losers and sore winners aahh im seeing red:mad:

I agree silver thats what schuey deserves, wonder if jacques remembers might not need dc to pull a schuey :P

I think webber would have had a good shot at the podium, the michelins didnt slow Kimi down all that much. I do think we have alot to look forward to with Webber though. I mean i think the best way to measure a driver is against his team mates. In something like 32 starts webber has been out qualified twice and has scored something like 19 points to 1 or 2 against his team mates. Ok so Alex Yoong wasnt the best benchmark, but pizzonia and wilson are both good drivers who havent yet come close to webber. Will be very interesting when he gets a drive in one of the big 4 teams.

I agree, but i would like to see him stick at Jaguar for at least one more year, which looks to be the case.

If he goes to one of the big 4, it is always difficult to establish yourself especially if there is a driver entrenched there.

You see it all the time a very capable driver is made to look less capable due to team politics. Noone doubts Mark Skaifes ability, but look when he walked into HRT and the established Lowndes was his teamate and then later with Bright, JPM into Williams with Ralf.

Even dominant teams in F1 struggle to have drivers finish 1-2 in the championship, even in the glory days of Williams with Mansell/Patrese->Hill/JV & Coutlhard, and likewise with McLaren with Berger/Senna/Prost etc etc.

Equal equipment doesnt always mean equal opportunity even in teams with no recognised No.1, engineering support, testing, whose car gets the new parts before the other, who gets the older chassis?

Just in. JV is gooone. Sata will be replacing him. Feel sorry for him. Rose to stardom then fell from grace. BAR was a big mistake.

Chances are he'll be out in the cold for 04 but Jaguar haven't signed anyone up for Webber's team mate.

Probably for 2 reasons he won't get a drive with Jordan.

1. Next year Jordan may be getting Mercedes engines. Alexander Wurz is a good recruitment cause he KNOWS mercedes engines and also has the mclarens know-how. Very valuable knowledge to be gained from him if they do get mercedes engines.

2. Jordan get extra sponsorship $ from Benson & Hedges for having an english driver. Leaves JV sh*t out of luck.

hey silver, what's this "i want to have JV's babies" thing. I'm sure the bloke can drive, but his attitude is *disgraceful*. If I was running a company sponsoring BAR I'd be looking to have him out on his arse too!

He's so busy trying to psyche out and beat his teammates that he forgets to race against his competitors....

I don't want JV's babies. But I'll have Senna's if he was still around!

Yeah since eddie ervine's gone JV's the motor mouth in the pits. Next I'd say is Ralf. Rule 1 in F1 - never bag your own team/car.

    • Yes I can see how that would put you off HFM, especially with the price of good quality brake fluid. From what I understand it as you say the BM50 is the standard BMC for a R32 GTR, I must admit I would like to go far a Genuine Nissan BM57, but lack of cash prevents that at present. With the price being so close between the genuine BM50 and BM57 a BM57 New it seems a better choice as you gain that 1/16 bore size with the BM57, I would be interested in how much difference you feel with the BM57 fitted. I am going to take SteveL's advice in the short term and see how much actually comes out of that proportioning valve vent and save up for the Genuine Nissan part. Thanks for clarifying the HFM failure
    • Thanks mate. I just got the post inspection 1/2 done from state roads when the starter motor packed up, either that or the car alarm system is having trouble.  OEM part number 23300-AA112.
    • Hi, I though I was coming to an end in finding a replacement starter motor for a rb25de neo. I came across a starter motor from Taarks and a message below stating: Direct fit. 11 Tooth count. All below part numbers have been superseded to 11 teeth. Can some body shed some light on going from 8 teeth to 11 teeth apart from 36-month / 25,000 km warranty for passenger vehicles to 12 Month Warranty. Compatible with the following Nissan part numbers: 23300-20P00 23300-20P01 23300-20P05 23300-20P10 23300-20P11 23300-AA111 23300-AA112 23300-AA300 23300-08U10 23300-08U11 23300-08U15
    • Low battery? Maybe check capacity? I know first-hand, on BMWs if your battery drops below 80% capacity, it starts causing strange issues.
    • 8.5 +37 = should fit rear, but I think it'll hit on front. What you want is low 30s/high 20's front, mid 30's rear. That 17" screenshot you posted looks good, I'd run it on my R32 (but that's long dead now). For tyre sizes, my rule of thumb is: 8': 235, 9": 255. But that's just my opinion. Nismo sizes: 18x8.5+35/18x9.5+38 is a good starting point.
