well i got her back, they managed to pull out 215 rwkw, thats as far as it can go without injectors and pump, and now on hi boost the engine cuts out for a second, then goes again, and the knock sensor goes up to as high as 94!!! bbbbaaaaaddddd! so low boost it is till it goes back in on tues for pump and injectors...money money money

94 knock level f@#k thats not good, was ya engine warning light cuming on???

were u resetting it after every boost up?? coz i think the numbers just keep adding up if u dont reset i think u press up to highlight it then press right 2 reset it then press down 2 un highlight it

i did say 204rwkw 10psi with everything stock... simon is making over 280rwkw with stock inj... just upgrade the pump, and your cutting out thing may be as i explained before the spark gap, as fuel cut should have come off with the power fc install? or even a coil pack breaking down?

good going with the 215 what boost was that? and when u made the 206 was that with the fc in untuned or stock ecu, i would have thought they could have made more then 10kw with a tune..

i took it back to simon at morpowa to show him what its doing, but the bitch didnt do it!!!! and boy did he give it a hard time!

205 kw was before the fc on 11 psi...215 was at 13 pound, with pfc, they said it was as safe boost level as they could get it with the standard pump.

and they also told me the injectors are at only 80%, so they have a little more puff to go before they need replacing.

im only after a few more kw, around 230-240 and ill be happy.

so it goes in monday for bosch 044 i think he said.

spark gap was set before the tune yesterday, and splitfire coil packs will be in a couple weeks time,

yeah the engine light was coming on, just that once when knock went over 60.

and i reset it after every hard boost, yes

just to quickly add to what was said b4... there is absoloutly NO limit (that we have found yet) to what we can re map the standard ecu to and with, AFM's, injector sizes and turbo's!!! as shys6 said b4 we made 360 sumthing rwkw's out of our rb20!!!!

n i would suggest a walbro 500hp pump in ur tank man, they are pretty much a straight fit, no mucking around! sumtimes it gets a bit tight putting a big bosh down in the tank of the r33's n s14's coz it has to squeeze down next to the fuel level sender and all.. but obviously the bosh will still work!!!

hope yu get it all done soon man, will be good

dude go for the walbro > bosch.

im looking into it myself....apparently the bosch in-tank fuel pump doesnt come with 'everything.' or you could bust 400 or so bucks for a nismo fuel pump haha

walbro would come with everything the bosch one would. With the bosch u need to modify the holding bracket and use a hose clamp to put it in place.

I would go bosch over walbro, but thats personal choice.

i am looking at getting a bosch 040....ryan is helping me put that in....Walbro $170 and Bosch 040 $220....i would rather go with the Bosch 040....just a lot better

Arent Bosch just better for much higher kw applications? and Walbro are fine for about 250rwkw?

Bosch 040 i can get one for $220.....and its not hard to install it or so i have been told....so why get a nismo one....for around $400.....and why get a walbro pump for $170 when for $50 more u can have a much better and reliable pump in ur pride and joy...

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
