Well guys,

My question i think will be relatively simple for most peps in this forum 8D

my brother in law has upgraded his R33 GTR and said i can have his Stock Turbo and Injectors. But can a GTR R33 turbo bolt onto a GTT R34? Or do i need adaptors? If so is it worth it? The wheel is still ceramic yeah? i assume it should still be a better turbo for the time being until i get a better turbo..

In the case it does bolt on i'm assuming i will need upgraded injectors.. but still his injectors are better anyways.. but correct me if im wrong but isnt there an issue of side feed v top feed when it come to GTR and GTT?

Feedback, advice on what you think is worth doin would be great.. also have a power fc which i wanted to get in asap.. but am i worth getting Turbo installed (if there no hassles involved) before i install pfc and tune?

cheers

A GTR has two turbos, a GT-T has one... you realise this dont you?

They are also a different flange/bolt pattern also

So to get two GTR turbos working (as one isnt an upgrade, its smaller than a GT-t turbo, as there are two of them).

Two manifolds

New custom oil/water lines

New/Custom intake piping

Adpators for the manifolds

New exhaust to cat (at minimum)

Management

Adaptor loom/rail for the GTR injectors as they are not change over

And so on...

IMO totally pointless.

yeah i thought they would be a different flange when he said i can have it.. yeah i know there is two turbos.. lol.. i shouldnt even have a skyline if i didnt know that.. although i didnt know they were smaller turbos.. and yeah i thought i could jus use one... however smaller turbo.. too much work for a temp thing it seems..

always worth the ask.. gained my new knowledge for the day now.. thanks anyways.. you have pretty much confirmed my feeling it wouldnt be a simple process
