so i'm running on fu(kedout r33 coils... in an effort to stop the missing nige @ racingline has gapped some BCPR7ES plugs to 0.6 and it has run flawlessly for a year...

BUT

the miss is returning... i'm guessing that 30,000 later the plugs are shot (logical really)

i have splitfire coils sitting next to the bed...

can i just install the coils, plut new plugs in and not worry about a tune if i gap them back to 0.6?

or should i try the 0.8 gap first?

the car has a visit to uncle benno for the new turbo to be tuned up but that's not for a month or so

well standard gap is more like 1.1, anything lower than that costs you power because the spark is weaker. 0.6....that's really small and very much a band aid solution to a spark problem. Run it at at least 0.8 with the new coils for sure.
