Does anyone here frequent the shopping centre at Acacia Ridge ( cnr Elizabeth St and Beaudesert Rd ) on Friday nights.

There are an easy 50 - 100 cars there each Friday night, but mostly old school.

I dont see many Skylines etc ?

might check it out this fri havent been out for months

Went there 2wks ago after a family friend told me about it. I knew it was mainly hot rods, lots of "Yank Tanks" & Holden/Ford V8 bangers - I enjoy looking at other peoples rides, especially the oldies. Had a lot of strange looks for turning up in the HR31 coupe (still a classic!!!), even had a thumbs up from one young hottie but I did have some bogan yell "get it outta here" as I was leaving. Been there, done that, not going back any time soon...

peoples been there good 6-7 times, shit yeah its full of big blocks and f@#kin blown big blocks. several of me m8s at browns plains go there one of the the lads has a very pimp hq ute, 350chev wit 383 stroker kit, 2 stage power glide does burnouts out 140km an hour, no handbrake!!! and runs 9.5secs or less all day on the quarter, AND theirs no nos yet. he is a mate so i will talk it up but very fine machine! i say what ever floats ya boat. thats why i have a skyline!! alot of the guys cars are pride and joys and headturners and theres also the cocks there wit their heaps of crap, dribblin shit about rice burners when their pussbuckets are lucky to pass rego!! just thought i'd say not everyone is up themselves but their is always one in a crowd! :D

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
