What bolt on Turbo my my r33 GTST?

Recommended Posts

If i were you i can't recomend highly enough and neither could those who have been their also is to have your turbo custom built by ATP... it aint too exspensive compared to that of say a HKS turbo or what have you and i have seen far better results in most cases dependant on what hte person wants. I had a turbo custom built by them and its awesome dude, can't recomend them high enough. The fastest RB25 gtst in aus runs a turbo built by them and so do all my mates run them. You can have everything from yours high-flowed to a custom T3-66 hybrid or what have you.

how much approx?

i'm looking for something simple "bolt on" and relatively cheap like $2000

would the GTR turbo be compatible a good upgrade?

i drive past ATP everyday on the way to work!

what turbo have they built for u?

T3/4 or T4? I've got a T04E and I'm happy with it, good for over 250rwkw (ie, more than your stock injectors will make). They are quite cheap, around $1800 new from Garrett (less if you can get trade prices), or closer to $1000 second hand.

There was a T3/4 I was considering buying from Turbogst (forum member) when I thought mine was buggered. The thread is here, and it doesn't appear to have been sold: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=19943

    • Definitely a hearty eater when we go out, I consider these meals my cheat day as I've been watching my calories in and calories out pretty hard since my little fun size stroke, I've gone from a fat boy of 89 Kg, I'm only 165cm tall/short, down to a almost semi lean 73 Kg over the last few years, I'm currently around 17% body fat which my doctor is very happy with, but, my goal is to slowly get down to and maintain 15%,so yeah, I want all of the protein, carbs, fats and sugars when I go out for a binge
    • There was a great one on Victoria Rd in Gladesville too back in the day. I can only assume GTSBoy is thinking of the mill up on the wollondilly, no restaurant there any more but they have restored the original steam engine on site and run it every few months, have an annual steampunk festival etc @The Bogan, you came to the wrong town for restaurants. we have a few reasonable asian and indian options but the Paragon is as good as it gets otherwise. That brewery is apparently just opened, been meaning to give it a go some time. The Highlands have plenty of fancy options but I suspect you are more a hearty eater than fancy eater
    • Thanks for coming back to post the update, maybe it will help out the next person!
    • Going by the intake & injectors I'd be guessing it's a DE, check the head casting number, should be 5L8 on a DET, 5L7 I think is the DE number.
