I bet you dollars to doughnuts if he really did spend the day at the track it was as a spectator not actually getting out there having a go. anyone I know after a full day of circuit racing, or drifting is absolutely knackered after a days racing and you would most definitely be driving sedately home again.

Werd!

You would also have to question how a piece of sh!t help together by cable ties would ever pass scrutineering.

drifting is not so worried about the securing of body kits, though the battery would definitely have seen him sitting that one out. all in all I say he was some clown who went to see some people with actual balls have a go at drifting or racing. being too much of a pussy to participate himself he thought he would make himself feel more manly buy thrashing the nuts out of his shitbox on the way home.

He's a tool, granted.

Hope he gets what he deserves.

But what really shits me is how the journo makes it out too the average joe that the doors or bonnet were held on by cable ties and the notion of taking out a back seat is so foreign to them that it must be pure evil when majority of us do that for track day too.

The battery thing... I got nothing and I've had a battery ground itself when cornering and explode.

very true - especially at QR in summer :sweatingman:

there is a rumor at work that this was me

All because I have like 2 cable ties on my front bar until I can fix it.

oh and because ppl that are apparently "car enthusiasts" don't know the difference between a 200sx and an R32

lol, you're the first person I thought of when I heard this on the news this morning!

Except I KNOW that you're not stupid enough to attempt this on a public road. :P

    • Wiring the car up today so will report back for anyone else that searches this in future.
    • The light comes on from low oil pressure. Not temp. Did you do a rebuild or just add an ecu etc?  What oil are you using and where are you getting the pressure reading from
    • So like the title says my 97 rs4v has a oil temp sensor but no triple gauges as it was originally factory navigation. My current setup is not using the factory oil pressure sensor as I'm running a link ecu and a real sensor.  I did leave the oil temp sensor in. So now as I was working on first start up and bleeding coolant I get the oil light on the dash faintly as the oil temp gets to about 60-70c. Oil pressure is 45psi at idle at the same time.  I'm wondering if the temp sender doing this?
    • Well it runs again!  This was a definite case of while I have it apart lol Everything except the body and interior has been restored, refinished, or replaced.  @socal_stagea is my IG if you're bored and want to see all the pics.
    • I already got plug and play Link ecu G4X. Main concern is that the de loom works on s1 motor or not? I already rewired injector and coils loom to suit my bosch injectors and bosch vag coil. I’m not running any Iacv. For cas running the nz wiring kit i bought the neo plug one so it suits the wiring but don’t know it works or it doesn’t matter they work the same on every motor. For wastegate solenoid do i need to wire straight from ecu? What can i do for iat sensor to work or same run from ecu? For Vct solenoid, right now i got s1 vct solenoid on motor so do i need to remove neo connector and add s1 connector to work? Any other thing i missed i need to do to make the motor working on de loom. Any different mechanism on neo vs s1?
