Dani Boi
When I was driving home today in the pooring/flooded rain I noticed that my car alarm light inside my car started to flash, I didn't think much to it at first but when I got home and turned the car off it still was flashing then realised I cant even "arm" my car nor can I even turn the car on!!! I'm thinking that maybe it is a cause of the flooded water going up and inside my car? I've tried just disconnecting my battery running it flat and then reconnecting it but it's still doing the same thing... Anyone has a similar problem? Any help would be good Its an autowatch alarm btw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/221716-alarm-problem/ Share on other sites
Chris Rogers
siren is probably full of water. pull it out and dry it. alarm module shares the same supply as the siren and VERY few people fuse them so when it gets a short in it the alarm module will do a lot of strange things. Dani Boi
Thanks mate. I'll give that a shot tomorrow morning. Anyone else have some suggestions as to what it might be also?
