My stock lsd is getting tired and not looking nice after a few runs with slicks, did a search on the topic and found a thred on rebuilding with nismo internal but it was a year old and there was an order done just wondering where to get these parts from and what other options are there?

go see your local diff place, they can probably supply and fit a 1.5 or 2 way item to fix it up

its probably not worth reco-ing the std item, i think most guys just replace it with a new nismo 1.5 or 2 way mech item

i was quoted around $1500 ish i think to have a kaaz 1.5 way supplied and fitted for my GTST ages ago

I think a rebuild using the Nismo shims would make a tight mechanical 2-way diff, what exactly is the diff for?

Street?

Track?

Thats what im doing...i have a late model R32 diff which is actually a R33 non v-spec diff.

Terry from Award Gearbox and Diff in Sydney says these diffs are the best GTR centres (bigger hemispheres and 31 spline 33mm 1/2 shafts) and are excellent after the Nismo kit is put through them.
