Posted this in a new thread since I can't edit the old one.

Ok Gave hume a call. I reckon probably the best time to Book is:

29th June Sunday or 6th July Sunday some time.

Cheapest way to do it is to book the whole track out for an hour. Cost is 540$ So if we get 10 people it's 54$ each

Maximum of 10 karts in one race. If we get more than 10 people wanting in, could probably work something out, but would probably need some like 16-20 people, and then we'd book it out for two hours.

Format would be : 3 x 15 minute races or 4 x 10 minutes races. (plenty to tire you out lol).

If people are in on this, please advise what days you can make it or not. If we get 8 or 10 will book this in. Booking the track exclusively for an hour is the cheapest, means only us are on it too. Hume also has a BBQ etc to use.

Yes for 2 either date currently.

Can you check the format. 4 x 10min = 40 mins allowing for breaks we should be able to get 5x10min in I think.

Comparing to normal prices of $45 for 3 x 10 min and we don't need to have any specific numbers, which is the better deal?

You can try but trust me I think after the 4th race you'll be pretty knackered.

Checked the format on the phone. I think other wise, each 10min race is charged at 17$ so thats 68$ for 4 races compared to 54$ if we get 10 people. A 5 minute break between each race isn't too much anyway.

Can have a look of doing it individually, but it is around 17$ for a 10 min race, or a bit more for a 15 minute race.

I agree that after 3 or 4 races the arms are very tired. If you ask the guys how much 30 mins is (3*10 min races) you will find it is a LOT cheaper than the 10 min race by its self.

This way we don't need 10 people and we don't need a set time.

The price for 3*10 mins sessions is only like $40 but you can get caught up with slower people or real arseholes if you don't hire it out

Ok Unless I cant count looks like 7 people have said yes so far. Will give it a day or two before I decide to book in, looks like 29th of June.

Also just to cover myself, need to tell you guys you will need to sign a disclaimer form, just incase something happens as usual, you will also either need to bring a helmet or use one there.

Probably a bit too late to book in an hour now, this thing slipped my mind, bit short of 10 people too, but happy to turn up sunday arvo to have a go just booking in individiually, or reschedule to some other time.

    • You just need a different blue slip shop (preferably one you regularly use as a mechanic), and make sure the coil overs are as close as possible to standard height
    • yeah the sugar refining companies were pushing for the same in Oz originally, all fuels were going to have 10% ethanol to make them "cheaper" (noting, that the loss in l/100 might be greater than the decrease in price). I guess they won that fight in Canadia
    • GTSboy, thank you again. i’ve been reading all the other SAU RB25 vacuum line threads and you have the utmost patience for people asking “where do my vacuum lines go”. it’s appreciated. i did also enlist a few other RB guys local to me.  i would like to run 5 to 4. turbo pressure side to wastegate actuator. i would like to run 3 to 1. power steering air valve line to intercooler outlet. (this is how it was previously). i was told 2 is the bleed port for the boost solenoid - which i’m not running - so should be capped.   anyone see any problems with that?
    • So yes. All of them. Something like 98% of all fuel in the USA has 10% ethanol: https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/ethanol-fuel-basics It's labelled as like, AKI, 87, 91, 93 with an E10 or E5 or E15 label on the pump. At a certain point, it's not just "E10" instead of 91. It is 91, 95, 98, and all of them have 10% Ethanol in them. You can also get E85 and E30 which is why you do see some people rolling around with E30 tunes in them.
    • Thanks for the response. This is an 04 EP3 Type R. JDM spec. Fairly certain they're just basic BC racing coils. I do plan to keep as the ride quality on stock I've been told is pretty meh given Sydney roads. If I were to go down that avenue, does NSW require them to be a certain spec (close to original) etc?
