An answer to another common question.

No, you can not buy the license on the day. It is your own responsibilty to have this organised in plenty of time before the event. If you do not have it sorted and ready to present on the day, you will not be allowed to race. There is absolutely no way around this as it is in the sup regs and out of the clerk of course hands.

So please, make sure you organise you license asap if you do not already have one.

First and last warning :P

Payment?? Oh yeah... payment.. How do we do that Brad? Directly to you - or on the day?

Brad,

Just wanted to know is this one of those things where car sharing would be OK?

Maka, yes car sharing is fine.

I will try to seperate shared cars so its not driving back to back. So 1 at the start of field, 1 towards middle of field or something.

Will you be driving the GTR? Is Adrian entering? Let me know.

I figured you were entering when i received your payment like a week ago LOL

Your already on the list. :ermm:

Matt, ive sent you a PM for the details. It has to be paid asap to secure your spot.

Are you doing the Autotest in the Morning aswell?

Just an Update for you guys.

Abdus and the crew at TENAGAH MOTORSPORT have come on board as our event sponsor.

We have had some brief discussions about future motorsport events and i forsee some exciting things on the horizon.

Abdus has booked several spots for him and his staff so it will be interesting to see what they rock up in. Im sure what ever they drive, they will be very well prepared and tricky to beat.

I see some very tough compeition ahead!

BRING IT ON!!!!

That sounds awesome Brad :ermm:

Can't wait for this event. This will be a good indication of how far off the mark I am for autotest next year. The car needs a few things done before next year, but we'll get there :)

Need to sell the R33 lol

At least you have plent of power to try and make up for it Paul. All I have helping me are some 265 wide rear tyres and a HKS mushroom filter lol Hopefully I can have my exhuast on by then, and if the tax man is feeling really generous, maybe some suspension. I somehow don't think its going to happen though :)

Hi mate - I bumped into Rod and the guys down at AHG today and gave $70 bucks to Rod to pass on to you tomorrow mate. Where were you??

Nah, not doing the Autotest - one event per day is plenty for me I think! :D

    • I found a supplier for an arm in NZ. https://thrashgaragenz.com/products/nissan-skyline-v35-z33-350z-front-lower-straight-arm-rh-side?srsltid=AfmBOopMdfCFDc_8yVZZ9kq5nIngPHRTBzUU8v4SAptJaRO52Wjs0bC6 I looked closely at the photo of that one and the Z1 arm, and it's the same bloody arm. Scratches all match in the photo 😂 How hard is it to change that joint? Also they seem to be listing two options https://thrashgaragenz.com/products/nissan-skyline-v35-z33-350z-front-lower-straight-arm-balljoint-rh-side?_pos=1&_sid=229acde44&_ss=r And now I have no idea what size I'd need yay
    • Ill review it again, from memory when I first saw some of Trailer Park Boys I wasn't a huge fan. I ended up at Letter Kenny after watching Shoresy, which is a bit ass backward, ha ha
    • "lol dunno" either But like you, I can't see any reason they would need to be different LHD to RHD
    • I agree with you WRT the hard top. MX5's may be one of the better looking soft tops but I cannot think of ANY car, EVER that looks better with a soft top vs a hard top (or a designed roof). At all, ever. I also feel this way about the C5 Vette, the Z06 looks horrible compared to it's original form, it has an exaggerated version of the differences you're talking about.
    • Hey crew, Failed my WOF cause of a lower control arm, and I've decided to hit both arms, and also the compression rods at the same time(seems they're gonna be the most likely upcoming failure points from some discussions with the lads over on the G35 reddit). I've looking at these form Z1:  https://www.z1motorsports.com/front-suspension/hayaku-automotive/hayaku-g35-front-compression-rod-p-40716.html https://www.z1motorsports.com/front-suspension/hayaku-automotive/hayaku-g35-front-lower-control-arm-p-40674.html I asked Z1 if they'd work as it's the same platform, just RHD vs LHD. I basically got told "Lol dunno". Specifically they aren't aware of any difference but can't guarantee fitment as they haven't done it on a 350GT. So guess I'm asking is if there is any issues with using 2005 G35 coupe suspension parts on a 2005 350GT coupe? Orginally I thought it could be something in the way of the arms that each control arm is designed to be positioned around, but that'd be an engineering nightmare for Nissan needing two different shaped control arms 😅
