Boosting A R33 Gtst Problem, Need Help!

I have tried to boost my stock gtst up to 12psi but the problem im getting is:

i plant my foot down and it reaches lets say around 10psi then when im close to 5000rpm it then jump up to the 12psi mark but it dosent make any difrence... im just using a simple T piece bleed valve... im thinking that the wastegate actuator isnt working properly or its not getting enought fuel...

did any1 ever have a similar problem? i was also thinking if using another type of bleed valve or boost controler but i dont think it would make a difrence... i took the T piece of and now running stock it also has the same problem reaches 5psi then on higher revs like 5000rpm it then jumps up to 7or8....

If your increasing the boost make sure you take the factory boost solinoid out of the car...

Disconect it, plug the return hose that goes back into the inlet (bottom one). This might solve your problems.

the stock factory set up has a solenoid which will increase the boost above 4800rpm'ish - disconnect this and you'll be ok!

Ive got the same problem running 10psi wont boost any higher.

have pic below. Will the car stall after disconnecting it.

Please help need more boost

WLD747 - yepp, just disconnect the plug to get rid of the two stage boost.

Best thing to do is remove the factory solinoid totally though.

Thanks guys for the tip after finally disconnecting the stock boost controller, I am able to boost to 12PSI no probs.

One more thing the car drives really good now. Smoother. I reckon the boost controller (stock one) was holding back the boost and power!.

So disconnect that stock boost controller and your car will drive better and faster.
