Spoiler Removal

Hi, SAU.

Trying to remove my old spoiler so I can replace it with a S2 one.

I currently have the S1 Oval like one and can't seem to remove it.

I have removed the 4 bolts (which I can see) and it doesn't want to budge.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing a few bolts?

Any help would be great.

Cheers.

Yeh, once those bolts are off, hit it with your palm a bit to get it moving slightly, then push a small screwdriver in and lever it out. Thats what we did with hoony's car. Also, we got some fishing line and used that to cut the glue. Just be careful, because the spoiler came flying off and left a HUGE scratch on the boot lid... Oops!

shouldnt be any glue on them unless they have been replaced dodgy in the past - rubber gasket and a couple of push in plastic lock tabs should be it after removing the bolts.

i had a go at removing my r33 s2 spoiler, well suffice to say it was a sh!te attempt, couldn't find any bolts or anything? all i could see under the bootlid was the struts holding it up :D

you get to the 4 bolts from underneath the bootlid - you will need to peel back the carpet lining to get to them from memory.
