Yeah seems many people have been having problems and there have been a few threads about JSAI. It just seems to be a bit of a delay problem...he seems pretty busy and as far as i know, is only running a two man team...just give it time...

...maybe try to do a bit of research before buying from stores online. If you don't like the idea of waiting (which isn't unusual in our field of interest) - then save urself the worry and stress of sending large amounts of money and not hearing from the company for weeks at a time...

...having said all that...i hear that Josh from JSAI is trying his best to catch up with everyone and i havent heard of anyone actually being dodged yet...(again, i haven't actually dealt with him myself...i'm just passing on everyone elses experiences that i've read) :P

i deal with jsai all the time.Josh is a good bloke ay.He is just that busy atm its not funny.Dont think he aint makin ur parts or gettin them for you but he is doin his upmost best that he can to get it to you asap.

suprise suprise yet another thread :P. whyy do these businesses continue to take on more work if they cant handle the workloads. some other forum members continue telling the shafted customers that he is doing his best and to be patient. not answering fone calls or emails etc is not doin "his best". so can everyone stop making excuses for these businesses

Got some 180sx kit from them a while ago, and it was crap. Quality is nothing like the one on the website, took me ages to get them to fit.

At the end of the day, you get what you paid for.

Obviously theres a reason why your kit didnt fit , because your car was buckled , if You think the kit will fit exactly on your car your dreaming , i bought a kit for my car from josh but before i got it fitted i went for a trial fit were slight amendments had to be made to have a perfect fit , You obviously got no clue what your talking about , How do we know your car hasnt had a knock in the body before ?

Here Here!

hahaha il tel you why the kit didnt fit? its not because the car was "BUCKLED", its because the kit is a cheap copy (hence the prices). all cheap make kits never ever fit exactly, and always need to be modified to sit properly, hence why they charge that bit extra to have it fitted.

jetspeed and carmate kits are just the same. when ur paying under a grand for a full kit, its pretty obvious that you aint going to get the best quality kit.

Clearly they are copies , and josh didnt deny that at all on his website and on here he has written down the style bodykits and not the real thing, i dont have a problem of them being copies when he saves me thousands of dollars , and i rekon he does a mad job , only problem is when people buy the kits and try and paint and fit them themselves, i think thats were the problems arise...

i think alot of people would agree with me on that ...

yeh i didnt mean it as they arent copies cos the are.But the quality of the job is top notch.Just when i hear cheap copies i think of the stuff from china that dont fit at all.But majority of the stuff that josh makes n sell fit quite good

travis keep brown nosing josh, noone really gives a f**k. peoples experiences with him speak for themselves.

and for the record my mate bought a ztune kit of josh, and josh fitted and painted it. and ill tel you one thing you retart, they had to f**king modify the shit out of it before it sat flush. so had he not got josh to fit it, it would have never sat properly. so dont put ur 2c in where its not wanted

ask travis, since he seems to be josh's public spokesman. alwaysss telling people that josh is veryyyy busy and is doing the best he can, yet continues to not explain to us what being busy, has to do with answering phone calls or messages

    • Well, yes, every CU on the bus is available via the Consult port, but whether the scanner you are using is capable of talking to the TCU, the ABS/TCS modules, etc etc, is what is at question here. Many of them are only for engine codes. So, if you have one of those, you won't know if the ABS is having a bitch.
    • That's now. R chassis Skylines come from a time when the tolerance in the ADRs was a bit more....slack. My car, on 235/35-17, which is damn near the exact same size as the original 205/55-16, is pretty much bang on correct indicated speed across the whole legal range. That's demonstrated with constant speed run over 5km, and GPS speed. It's just the luck of the draw. My particular speedo head has to be the thing that is "calibrated" that way, because everything else (the diff ratio, the gearbox and the speedo drive**) are all same same as most other Skylines. **OK, so the speedo drive is a Navara unit to drive the R32's cable, not the electronic unit than an R33/4 would normally have with teh same gear on it. Otherwise, I applaud your OCD tendencies, and I would do the same if I needed to.
    • Not too sure, I believe the Nissan consult port does everything? Also just filled up the reservoir to full and the light is still on. The float seems to move up and down fine.
    • The speedo's can be very conservative, when my Mazda NC MX5 speedo is showing 118kph, the GPS, and a calibrated radar.... cop mate.....hits me at around 110kph +/- 1 or 2 kph, and that is on a 215/45 17, stock tyres size is 205/45 17 as well, so weirdly conservative with stock tyre size When my Commodore speedo red 116kph GPS had me at 110kph on 255/40 17, so again conservative Google says manufacturers need to set the speedo from 4 to 10% slower than actual road speed.....for safety.....and compliance  After doing some offset and clearance measurements to see what can fit the NC on 17x8 +40, without guard rolling or rubbing anything at my current ride height, I've decided that when my tyres are toast, I'm going to fit 225/45 17 and see where that gets me IRT actual speed of my speedo and GPS/radar From the online calculator I should be still be doing around 5kph under an actual 110kph when the speedo is showing 110kph My ADHD requires that when I'm doing 110kph on the speedo, that the actual road speed is actually really close to that, and not alot slower And going from 205 to 225 still keeps the car within the %/mm allowable in the NSW vehicle rules and regulations, which is nice, as long as I'm looking at the latest version that is.....LOL https://www.nsw.gov.au/sites/default/files/2021-02/RMS-13.464-Light-vehicle-modifications-Vehicle-Standards-Information-No-6-November-2013.pdf
    • Take the value it measured as, and pick the closest range available that is above the reading on the screen.   Also, no point just testing the coils. Read what has been said again. You need to test all your wiring, everything.
