ok people, time has come to sell my baby as am now in the market for a GTR. I purchsed this car in Feb 07 with 100 000km on the clock and have only put close now to 9000kms on it. Mostly driven as a weekend car and despite my young age, my baby has not been thrashed off its tits doing stupid shit, burnouts, try hard drifting etc. I have always taken great care and pride in my skyline as i was saving almost every dollar i earnt while at college to buy this car (have always loved R32's). Car has always been warmed up and down, my mates make fun of me being a grandpa because of my insistance to give it a proper warm up/down. This GTST is in beautiful condition and have had many other skyline owners comment in surprise on its fantastic condition ( a few saying they have never seen a better condition gtst in tas). Originally had intentions for a new turbo and carried out mods to prepare for it e.g. fmic, porting, blueprinting but i have found that i can afford a gtr now so hence the sale. paint and interior are in great nick although the usual few car park scratches can be found. interior is also fairy clean and has all original mats except passenger side. filter and oil always changed every 5000km using motul turbolight oil. you may think i am asking a fairly steep price for a R32 gtst but she is in excellent condition and those looking for a car that isnt a slogged out heap with be very pleased. still have stock intercooler and electric front lip to be sold with car if wanted.

cheers, Sam.

people understand that this is not one of the usual rough $9k r32's you see getting about, this is an extremely well cared for and clean r32. you wouldn't believe the amount of people that comment on its superb condition as there are hardly any 32's left in this good a nic.

Hey Sam

i have never personly seen your car but i can apreciat what you mean by its condition. the main problem is that r32s arent selling at the moment. i know of 2 6k ones up here in launni and they have been forsale for months. they are both buckets of shit thoe. the problem is the market that r32 are aimed at are to young to apreciate what you have. if your not in a rush hang onto it and the right person will come along. if not im afraid you will just have to keep lowering the price untill it goes.

best of luck with the sale, if i had the coin i would buy it for sure. i love the clean ones.

    • After @Kinkstaah debacle, I'd never want to try and get it right 😛
    • The hood lines up with the fenders. The front bar doesn't perfectly line up with the fenders where the wheel arch is. You have to 'squeeze' the front bar 'in' as it wants to naturally flare out and be longer on the sides. There's a few threads where people notice this when they only swap a GTR style bumper and front bar. Unless you have genuine OEM items - you may be better served getting conversion kits. There are GTT bumpers to fit GTR hoods. There are GTR hoods (non genuine) to fit the GTT bracketry. MAY
    • The real question is, on some of those wild roads they call highways, how many times did a farmer in an old ute from the early 2000s blaze past you over double lines?   Tassie is a wild and really cool place, and after doing a work related road trip there January of 24, I understand why Targa Tasmania is ran there, and is so tough to do well at! We had a brand new Camry Hybrid that handled quite nicely, and thankfully weren't in an old car, because cresting some of those hills in a 100kmh zone for it to suddenly be like "surprise f**kers, this is a recommended 30kmh hard right turn" wouldn't be pretty. We weren't racing the Camry around, but we weren't slouching in the bends either. But my lord those old farmers know their old clapped out utes, and those roads, as they were absolutely hammering it!   You're also super lucky to make it up to Mt Wellingtong this time of year. It's often road closed with snow/ice! Also, I hope you hit up Salamander Road in Hobart for some insanely good food (I highly recommend the dimly lit Irish pub for a Guiness Pie, or even the bangers and mash!!!)   How long did the Ferry take to get across? I want to do a road trip of Tas on my own time, but I get horrifically sea sick, and I don't want me on the Ferry, just the car 😛
    • So far so good, about 30km on it so far and nothing out of sorts yet thankfully
    • Look at @Kinkstaah's thread on the issue.
