So we may have caught a small snag at the moment, small, medium and lge jackets are unavailable til September, but i have to wait til the order gets processed to find out for sure. If that is the case, we can go with Gildan Zip Hoodies (Ted will get excited) which are the same price. I just spoke with the guy on the phone and told him to work it all out so we can get everything as soon as humanly possible.

Just an update guys!

Thanks.

so what your saying is that the tops with zips in them may be replaced buy a different brand of tops with zips in them? and this brand may be of slightly better quality? but you will let us know, because this might not be the case?

exactly. it now IS the case, and we will be going with the Gildans, which are, and i quote "probably better then the JB's" as advised by Ross of Splash Alley, who are organising the hoodies.

Ohh they look good Cronic, ill look into it.

As for pics, i cant do much hosting at the moment because i am at work, but if you go to The Gildan Website and click on "Fleece" you will find:

-The hoodies under Gildan Ultra Cotton, product ID 9500

and

-The jackets under Gildan Heavy Blend, product ID 18600

Are all the hoodies/jackets going to be the gilan? Including XL and XXL? Unless they've already started making them... Be easier for them if they were all the gilan. But doesnt bother me what fabric/design it is, aslong as it has a big SAU logo and my username on it i'll wear it!..

Thanks for the update Damo :ermm:

Lol yeah, can't wait to wear mine! I'll represent everywhere I go!

    • An update regarding the registration with the DVLA I sent off the paperwork the day after I collected the car from the port, two weeks later it was all returned with a letter explaining they have rejected the application. This was because the cheque was £20 short for the road tax (I used a price list I found online). Nevermind it is what it is, it was sent back to them the following day with a new cheque. Fast forward another 2 weeks or so, I called them for an update to be told it had been rejected. Yesterday (16th September) I received the documents back along with another letter, this time it was because I didn't put an X in one box on the V750 (personalised number plate certificate), which declared that I had the rights to the personalised number plate. Why this wasn't mentioned in the first rejection letter, I don't know, but it could have saved this headache. The documents were sent back today, so fingers crossed third times a charm and it'll FINALLY be registered on the road just in time for the bad weather (woohoo!) To cheer myself up I lowered the front 25mm, was sick of seeing it sit like a monster truck. No idea how much clearance I'll have getting on and off the driveway, I'll worry about that when I can actually drive it
