Who's entering Classic Adelaide to reprezent SAU?? (The entry price is pretty good too half the price of a dutton rally *Starts thinking for next year* )

Awesome idea Dan - Me and Shaun (Evil34) used to go to a mates place to watch every year, great fun and loads of action and the throwing of beer cake! *memories* But now I live in Sydney..I know one of the revolution race gear guys over here is entering in his RX7!! ;)

Ok finally anyone that can help please let us know with things like

-shade

-big ass bbq's or Webbers, not to mention getting them down there (looks at a certain member with a red holden ute. come on man we need your help)

-boom box or even a good car stereo would be good (as long you don't end up stuck with flat battery)

-some kind of soccer ball or something to kick around between cars

-score boards for passing cars (I don't know)

-wet t-shirt comp girls to distract the rally drivers!

yeah thats the one

only this lock in dosnt have sega rally and daytona 2

and i fear ruby the only willing participants of a wet t shirt comp will be man boobs, but may still distract the drivers enough to get your desired after result last time i got major sun burn there so make sure you hit the sp15+ people :P

yeah i think reuben was volunteering to be the wet tshirt wearer. and we can charge $2 to let girls rub his man-nipples for good luck. Bloody good idea laddo, lets do it...

hahaha buy my camera :P compact yet BIG zoom

heard you talking about that at villi's last week. Would be awesome to get something like that, just need something small and good that i can take away with me also.

HA easier said than done

Just to add to this regarding catering;

Can do a nice spread if we get enuff people. Wont cost a lot

If I can get one combo bbq with hotplate/flame grill and one weber I should be able to keep everyone happy.

Real easy to buy a bulk amount of sausages, patties, chevaps, kebabs and what not...if we get enough people I'll do 2x legs of lamb , should be able to feed 12-15 people (and thats not including the other stuff I could do...)

Price will include bread and salad and condiments. As noted, all drinks are BYO, couple beers are ok but pls make sure you're not leaving the venue pissed; or if you are, get a mate/passenger to drive you home.

I just need some champ to provide the bbq's and some idea of who wants me to cater for em. If you wanna bring yr own shiznit, cool, but Im a kitchen nazi and wont share bbq's cause my bbq's are all communal. If people out there wanna help out by bringing side dishes and leaving the rest to me, that could work out well but once again I'd need to know how many people are confirmed.

Catering is piss easy, if you know how many souls to feed

If you have any problems with the location, I have a large block of land just outside of Inglewood (rally usually goes past, but I haven't checked the route this year) we could watch from. The advantage being we can kick off any bogans etc.

Quick check - looks like it starts at the corner of my block on Saturday morning

But I would also be keen for a cruise and watch the rally.

that actually sounds pretty good except the waking up extra early hmmm's whats ya view like there?

they burning down a straight road past your house or you on a bend.

i take it its the same deal we trapped there once it starts

Agreed....+ the more you get to see them from the one spot is a pretty good thing :ermm:

Went to rally SA couple of years ago, and was at the top of a hairpin that the cars came racing upto through a bit hill...Was quite interesting to watch how incontrol of an out of control situation they really are

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
