hey people has anyone got tein lowered springs in there car as im think of getting some, just wanted to know if its worth spending the extra money on the teins rather than king spring.. and before people start saying get coil overs i have had them before and loved so much but have been through to many head f**ks with them getting defected.

so if anyone can tell me what the tein lowered spring are like would be great!

The suprising thing that I found was the ride height is just right. Not too low to attract attention or as high as stock. Ride is not hard either. If you want I can take a picture of the ride height. Also note to be careful of ebay imitations. There are a lot of copys going around. I am no expert on the matter, but the guy who sold me the springs ( auto shop) said the good quality springs are cold rolled ?

i must agree with everyone else i had a set of tein lowered springs in my old r34 and they were great.... lowered it and the ride height was perfect not too low not too high and cops didnt even look twice

Im installing some in my R33 this weekend (wanted coilovers but i got them brand new for a set of batty wheels) so untill i can afford coilovers, they will suffice.

Will let you know how thy go, with before/after pics.

i too have tein super streets in my r33

ride quality is awesome. sits well on the road doesnt bounce around not too harsh on big bumps. feels good through corners too. best value for money coil overs i believe.

I think hes talking about just the Tein springs on OEM shocks, not the complete coil over setup.

But goot to hear more positive comments on the Tein coilovers, as thats what im planning on getting one day.

i also have Tein super street coilovers in my car

made everything feel so much nicer

launching, corners, driving in general

im very pleased with mine

plus they have valve adjustments so you can make them soft or hard when ever you want

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
