Comments / Modifications:

The car makes a very stable 245.9 rwkws but at the time, it had a sliping clutch which you can see on the top of the dyno graph where it gets a little jaggedy, that'd be the clutch jumping around a bit.

This has since been replaced with an awesome, genuine Exedy kit designed for the GTR so it can really take a pounding if you wanna upgrade further.

Also, the plugs were gapped down to 0.65mm to stop the misfiring. This also has been adressed with replacement Splitfire coilpacks, and the plugs returned to 0.8mm. Zero misfires!

I might get it back on the dyno and see if the clutch and splitfires make a difference to the top of the curve, and maybe crack the 250rwkws :D

The car has been tuned by The Hitman in Penrith.

Most people have heard of him and his reputation. Excellent!

It has a very standard look apart from the the Apexi Rev Speed Meter and a Blitz Boost Gauge.

The car is in excellent condition.

I had it inspected before I bought using Sydney Vehicle Checking Company.

They gave it a well above average rating and said that it's unusual to find these cars in this condition with NO rust and NO panel damage. So I bought it.

...if you haven't heard of them or used them before, they go over every panel with a magnet tester looking for signs of bog/rust etc...

It was bought from a fellow who imported it just to make a buck, which was fine by me, so I am the 1st Australian road registered owner.

Never been dragged (althouhg i'd like too), but has been to the Wakefield Raceway once when it was on the standard turbo on 7psi (4 yrs ago). And I'm no race driver so it's had a pretty easy life.

Other people with the HKS2535 have made mid 12's on the drag.

Robo's (i think) had mid 12's on the 2530 and then made low 12's on the 2535

( http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/PB...5-s-t74271.html , this is his 2530 thread with the 2535 reult in his signature )

Time to downgrade unfortunatley and get some cash for house reno's :)

Also 5yrs ownership and me getting older, it's time to move on.

this is depressing, I have exactly the same car (40th anniversary), similar mods

sucks to be trying to sell a skyline now :P hopefully stuff will pick up when the interest rates drop a bit

Well, front wheels off......pulled out the old Bendix Ultimates.....hand on a sec!

There's still half left!

Back in they go and someone gets an extra set of pads for a good sale.

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.
    • Is the panel filter one that is oiled? Have you ever cleaned or touched the AFM?
    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
