Boost Limiter

How do you know when you hit the boost limiter without looking

at the boost gauge?

the boost cut?

you'll feel like superman is holding onto the back of the car and trying to stop you.

its harsh and feels like you hit the brake with your clutch foot.

Would you likely to hit boost limit if you are like 6k in 3rd...I felt a shudder at that point went to 4th all ok,.... Just curious if that was it

um, its not like a shudder, its like you've hit the brakes... but yeah you'd be hitting high(er) boost at 6k in third.

did u notice that some of your plug electrodes had burnt off after this ??

In my case it seemed all ok ( touch wood) I gave her a bit after , but not as much and it all seems ok . Iam due for a service every soon and i hope all goes well.. I have driven her since and all seems ok

Hmm. the plugs seem to be fine...

I think it could be boost or fuel cut. Are these both the same thing?

It could have been a misfire.

When I hit my boost limiter, my EVC beeps it head off at me.
