Hey all,

Just a quick update... All the interior parts are back in the car with a new ignition barrell etc, many thanks to Edwin_Skyline for letting me rip apart his interior!!

Quick question though... Accessories are working and pretty much all the norm however the car still wont start, it looks like a fuse has been blown as I ripped out the computer and all looks fine there. Does anyone know if there is a common fuse that blows if someone tries to hotwire your car? Thanks

Hi all...

Well the car is all fixed, it's back on the road with avengance!! The issue was a blown ignition fuse right up in the boot where the battery is!! So here's a funny little equation much like the mastercard ads lol:

Purchase interior parts off wrecking R33 and ignition barrel- $150

Print out 491 page Nissan workshop manual from workplace- $0

Purchase new ignition fuse- $10

Have your boyfriend who is an electrician re-wire & solder- $0

Not paying $2100 in excess for making a claim on your insurance.... PRICELESS!! :(:D

Through the passenger's side window, they used a flat head screw driver to pop the window out of the seal and pulled it out a little, slid their hand in and unlock the door.

All I had to do was re-sit the window in the frame and it closes snugly again.

I remember reading a thread about r33's and some door lock you should disable.

should definatly check it out hey.

haha i should not be telling you this, but i have hot wired my door handles to give people a zap when my car is armed. you should think of the same. BUT, the downside is, if they are quite stupid and hold onto the handes, it WILL drain the battery but it still does take awhile. its like being stung by a megger at 500V, your boyfriend should know what i mean.

Hey, that fully sux, sorry to hear!!

BUT

coming from someone who is PARANIOD about people doing this to my car, plus the fact that I cant afford s&*t if I had to fix anything, I had Quick Track installed the second my car landed, it gives me piece of mind for a $1 a day, I park it anywhere and feel safe, best money ever spent if you ask me!!

At the moment Quick Track are in the process of being bought out by another company, which have yet to contact me, but I will definatly continue with their services, if you want any more info or just some examples of how it has worked for me in the past PM me anythime!!
