Lol at all these retards. Sunroofs may suck on an r32 but on my r33 no problems at all :)

Out of all the cars in my family that have sunroof's non of them have leaked 1 drop of water so dont talk crap :)

im with you man. i think its more the fact that R32's are so old seals are cracked, broken whatever else. needs a revamp. but yeh newer cars iv never had a problem with any sunroofs.

my sunroof works fine and doesnt leak in my 32 :)

haha spidey rox, specially in black. haha

well i love to have a sunroof i think its cool to have 1. i found a 32 for 7-8k blk sunroof, basic mods shit interior but..

dont think ill buy that, gonna look at a few 33s this weekend. they have the same engines do they propbably slower as in stock?

anyone looking at selling their r32s :)

R33 has more power and is faster than R32 from factory. 2.5 vs 2.0, both are inline 6.

P.S. buy an r33

:)

pffft sif Kris isnt trying to influence you

that 32 has only a front bar and no other kit and standard wheels

the 33 has kit, wheels and obviously lowered suspension

chuck ona type m kit and lower it on some nice wheels and the 32 will look better than the 33 anyday

make sure you pick white though :)

hmm blk was my preference but white is always around

im in Victoria and yes ive checked and looked at some 32s already none of them that id buy straight away.

Cant really afford the nice gunmetal one in the fs section yet....wanna leave some money to play around Cuz it suck when youve got new car but no money for petrol and shit.

The whole kit on that series 2 is standard. Pretty much looks like my car just with the extra rims :)

yeh and the type m kit is standard for 32s

add the lowered suspension and some nice wheels and then compare the two

we cant compare becuase i love my 32s whereas you love your 33s its up to him to decide

Series 1 R33's are more in his price range. me personally if i had the option i wouldnt even buy a series 1 then i would wait and save more money for a series 2.

the mans got a point its all up to you dude.

yeah the R32 for sure!

I've yet to see anyone with an R33 here pull chicks with it hahaha, like i said in another thread on pretty much the same subject, try driving a stock example of each and see what suits you better! I personally can't stand the looks of the R33. so I didnt bother test driving any, but if you're stuck between the two models...

Sunroofs are overrated, it dosen't leak water except in automatic carwashes, but I can't get the damn thing to retract, only tilt, and it seems to jolt when i shut my door :)

Problems with an old r32 tisk tisk, sure there are many :) If he is on a budget i wouldnt recommend an r32 as you will spend most of your money fixing it.

and Nicki is right, in the end its up to you. But what do you prefer? A newer, more modern, faster car (not including looks because its a personal preference) or an R32. :)

*cough* RB25 R32 *cough cough*

Well the sunroof isn't the be all and end all of the car, I just have to not be lazy and handwash it, which is a good thing in the end :)

also the R33 didn't come out with a turbo GTS4 if you're into 4WD :) not to mention the weight difference between the two models, the amount I spend on mine is about the same as my Commodore of the same vintage, and no matter which model you buy Skylines aren't a poor man's car!

thanks for the input guys

im leading towards r32 atm , simply because they are smaller lol. i accept the fact that r33 is a better car but why some cost same as r32.

also ive asked couple of my mates in regarding r32 GTS4 AWD.. im not into going sidewayz yet. but i would love to have a rwd but AWD in a r32 that doesnt have a DETT i can justifly

so basically the gts4 is like a gtr with a rb20det in it yea?

if you have never seen anyone pull with an R33 before?

then you can add me to the first on your list dude.

The key's open the car and start it only. Seperate key for the boot... Don't ask me why but thats just how it is.

You mention wanting to have money spare for petrol etc... I hope you have also considered insurance!!

    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?

    • BRUH, one of the biggest mistakes of my life..... and i've had plenty ;[)
    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.
