its my understanding to adjust height you lift up the spring. on the spring seat there is a circlip that you can move into the other grooves? is this correct? they dont need c-spanners im guessing?

also on the front damper adjustments one side noticeably clicks and only has a certain range of rotation.

the other side just turns endlessly... can this be fixed easily? any idea what setting it would be running at in this state? so i can set the other side to be the same?

yep, no need for c-spanners. the adjustment is just as you outlined.

sounds like the damper adjustment is broken though, no way to tell what it's set at either.

yeah thats what i suspected.

might take em to a suspension joint and see what they can do about it.

know anyone in the brisbane area that services ohlins gear?

Nobody that I know services Yamaha badged Ohlins. No spare parts are supplied by Yamaha and the Australian Ohlins agent won't touch them, they only have manuals and parts for the Swedish made Ohlins.

Cheers

thats not really good news... i thought i read somewhere about a place on southside brissie that deals with them.

surely a decent suspension place should be able to fix the damper adjustments on the front shock?
