lol, you seem to be talking up this car quite a bit. No they did not come standard with 5 studs as much as you want to think that. If a car has been taken care of a car that has 150,000km can look and feel as good as your car with "36,000km." Get realistic mate. 12 year old car with 36000km?? Do you really think the car was driven over its life 3000km a year? Guess whatever makes you sleep at night.

Other than all this the car does look sweet, do get it checked out and get a major service done. As far as anyone knows it could have 136,000km or even more and no one will know except for the person that did it in the first place. As everyone says. Dont even look at the km, look at the condition. No one here can genuinely say how many km their car has.

i dont need to talk to this car up u just gotta believe it plenty of ppl have seen this already most my mates are in the import scene

when will you people listen dont spam my thread just cos ur skylines got a millions miles on it n its been wound back the car was owned by an older person in japan then imported to aus by a 50yr old! i used to own a 84 mitsubishi colt with 87,000 on it n it was clean! just cos its been imported dont mean it must have been wound back like i said come take one look at the car it has not one mark on it!

if u swear its been clocked back why would all 4 tyres be showing age round the edges?? and to add to that there an early model bridgestone tyre.. so obviously its been sitting in the shed drivin by an old jap to the shops n back once a week!

i promise u this car came out with 5 studs its a type x non turbo 4 door series 2!

i also bought thru a dealer that certified the k's just to sort all

will have photos up later to prove my point! fags!

You seriously got to listen to these people, they are not putting your car down they are just giving you advice but your making it sound like they are just trying to find faults on your car when they aren't actually. At the end of the day you drive the car, so if you feel satisfied with the car than good but if i were you i would listen to these people get the service done hear what the mechanc has to say, because it's better to be safe than sorry.

Look mate, you came to this forum asking for advice and on what we think. If you dont like it then you know where to go. If you arent ready to accept any criticism you shouldnt have made this thread in the first place. Expecially when you are claiming things that just arent true. Some of us giving you this advice have been around for years on this forum so we would know a few things  If you know all then i guess you dont need a forum for help.

And think about it this way. A person will come to see your car. You say its got 36,000km. He says prove it. You show him the interior and shit and say "heres the proof." He will probably laugh as that is not proof at all. The ONLY proof you can have is CURRENT service history. But hey they can be fudged too.

i promise u this car came out with 5 studs its a type x non turbo 4 door series 2!

fags!

i have not seen any documentation of a type x r33 ever being released so if you can point me into the right direction that would be great. promises and someone's word isn't really what i was hoping for.

no one here has called you names or abused you. so don't you go start voicing off. consider this a verbal warning to everyone to keep the conversation civil and mature.

this is a forum where everyone is expected to share their opinions whether good or bad, we all have to be able to take some form of criticism.

i don't want to hear anymore about how many km or what not, everyone knows about imports and their odometer issues. the OP is well aware of everyone's comments and if he wishes to ignore them then everyone needs to respect that.

play nice guys

yea well maybe me as the everyday driver of this car should know what im driving..? thats my point i know the car has the amount of k's it has!

i'll put more pics up in a second n i will be able to explain any mark u could possibly find on it cos i put them there!

Lol. Same dealer?

From memory, I believe that all import cars must have their clocks wound back for compliance...

Jack :P

i promise if ur gtr has that much its not possible to look this clean.. u cant immatate a new car.

why the hell would they have to be wound back for compliance???

if my car dont have that many k's why is there not one scratch on the underside? not one mark under wheel archs? windscreen and interior where perfect when i picked it up! and why would the tyres be all cracked and old if it had been drivin as much as u's say? everymorning i get into it, i get to still smell that new car smell.

i know my k's are genuine and you all cant help trying to prove me wrong because of all the imports that do get wound back!

cars like this exsist it is possible!

went into my local nissan dealer yesterday and they thru it up on the hoist n looked right over it and assured me it hasnt been wound back because its so obvious in the quality of the car.. for it to be this good it would have to be restored and i dont know any1 in the world that would bother? and like i said u cant immatate a new car

every mechanic or anyone thats worked on it is amased at how perfect this car is

belive or continue hateing... i dont really care i'm the lucky one that gets to drive a pretty much brand new skyline!

pics dont do this car any justice u have to see it in person then u will change ur opinion

mate, step back a bit. they are trying to prove you wrong because you are making a claim. we unfortunately live in a world where claims are backed up by evidence. all you have are promises and your own judgment of how new you think your car is. even imports coming in with full up to date logbooks aren't a good indication of the type of mileage anymore.

if the car's condition makes you happy then that's all you need, you don't need/have to convince us and stop trying to prove it to the other guys and they'll leave you alone.

it would have to be restored and i dont know any1 in the world that would bother? and like i said u cant immatate a new car

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re...on-t140022.html

today is your lucky day!

i dont really care i'm the lucky one that gets to drive a pretty much brand new skyline!

exactly, so why does it matter what everyone else says?

you have to understand that you can pretty much buy new of every part of skylines (imports) off the shelf. you only have to walk through ricesalon to see that everyone and anyone can tidy up a car.

i have not seen any documentation of a type x r33 ever being released so if you can point me into the right direction that would be great. promises and someone's word isn't really what i was hoping for.

I have some documentation if you want, but its in Japanese. lol cheers mate. :P

    • The fab work can be as simple as a couple of silicon hoses and clamps to the factory piping.
    • Just sounds like either way you need to do some fab work to get everything to fit, so why limit yourself at that point? If the GCG high flow option is zero effort in and out swap though I'd probably do that. It's almost certainly lowest risk, lowest cost, etc. The HKS GTIII-RS option that Kapr mentioned is laughably expensive for what it is, they charge the exact same for two turbos on the RB26 so their margins are off the charts on that thing.
    • Intake manifold is not a part of the issue. The turbo bolts to the exhaust manifold. That is easy. But close your eyes and picture the physical situation. That is a T3 flange on the manifold and a T3 flange on the turbo. As long as any new turbo has a T3 flange on the exhaust housing, that exhaust housing will bolt to the exhaust manifold. This places the exhaust housing in the same place as the stock one. But now move your mental attention a little further forward. The location of the compressor housing is set by the length of the turbo's core. The stock turbo had a long core. Let's say that it is..... 100mm long. So that would place the compressor housing 100mm forward of the exhaust housing. But a highflow, might well have a centre core that is shorter. Let's say that it is only 70mm long. Now the compressor housing will be 30mm further back in the engine bay than the stock one. This DOES move the turbo's compressor outlet backwards. It also moves the compressor's inlet backwards. You will very likely have to do some work to both the inlet and outlet piping to make everything connect again. I am not say this to make it out to be a bigger deal than it is. I am just pointing out that "bolt on" is sometimes not quite bolt on. The highflow from GCG that Murray linked above (https://gcg.com.au/turbo-charger-upgrade-skyline-gtst-2iu-xtrgts-s1.html ) uses a core that is the same length as the stock core, and so does not require this extra work. It will look very much like the stock turbo. No-one uses GTR turbos of any flavour (stock, or aftermarket) in a single turbo application on RB20/25. It's not a thing. Yes, people have been putting on GT3076, GTX3076 (and bigger and smaller versions of those) and G30s (of various sizes) onto RB20/25 since forever. But these are not "bolt on". Everything except the 4 bolts to the exhaust manifold change with these. And genuine Garretts are expensive. Non-gen, like Pulsar, etc, are cheaper, variously as good or nearly as good. But still not bolt on. No-one in the right mind would pay for an HKS turbo. Not in this modern day and age. Well, yes, the GCG highflow. You could ask HG what he can do to make the compressor housing sit in the original location. There are surely others doing highflows around the world. And some of the eBay/Temu ones (as reported by Dose) work and don't die. Bit of a lottery though. I would send your turbo to GCG (here in Oz) to be highflowed if you want a trivial no-extra-work option. But seriously, the work required to change inlet and outlet piping is not that hard. That's a boost control problem, not a turbo problem.
    • Thank you all for the replys 🙂 I know that intake would be different but that is one pipe at it is not that hard to get(custom one). I meant mainly bolt to the stock manifold and the turbo elbow. I looked and many sites/forums but they are just "old" with some old HKS turbos from GT-R i guess? What about some Garrets?  Or any other turbo? Is there even a turbo which i can just bolt on? 😄 And yeah i know about that new HKS but that is like 2000k USD without taxes/shipping in here   Iam getting a touch up tune but my "problem" is that on the "not" hot day iam getting peaks around 0,9 bar...and when it was around 15 Celsious i saw peak around 1 bar which is just too much for stock turbo. And of course turbo is old and i like to get some new one for a piece of mind 🙂
    • I'm working on the assumption that our friend Jasmine here is a Russian (or, possibly Ukrainian) spammer/spambot, based purely on the number of such that I have been having to neuter in the last few weeks. IP address for the OP above was in WA. But that could have been via VPN. Posting at quarter to 4 in the morning is a good sign of being from somewhere in Europe. The last Jasmine that I kicked in the cooch was IP addressed in Ukraine. Even that could have been via VPN, and the bitchbot could have been from Russia, Serbia, China or anywhere. Regardless, was a spambot, so I killed it with fire. The fact that our new friend Jasmine here did not respond in any way to my tart query strongly suggests to me that this OP was just the establishment phase of a user able to be activated for spamming in a week, or 3 or 10.
