hey guys i went and looked at another r32 gtr and i liked it im puttin it up on a hoist during the week to make my final decision, but there is one thing wrong with it no 4wd. as some of u may no it was pissing down rain in the sth east of melbourne so roads were pretty wet and the gtr was loosin traction at the rear wheels. from what i no about this car the 4wd fuse kept blowin so the guy got it fixed and i noticed the gauge on the dash was on 0 even under wheel spin and i dont think it was engagin 4wd?? what could be the possible problem, as i am pretty interested in this car??

Check for any error codes on the ATTESSA ECU. If you can't get AWD, then there is a problem, and you should have the AWD wrning light showing up on the instrument cluster.

It sounds awfully like the dude has an error that he can't fix, so he's removed the AWD warning bulb.

yer thats what i was thinkin cause i heard alot about the globes being removed from the dash, i shulda cheked when i turned the ignition on i checked everythin else except the lights on dash lol, aw well tomorow it goes on hoist i chek then. but is there anything common that goes wrong with the 4wd system and expecive??

your still looking @ the wrong cars if they have things like that wrong with them mate.

Like i've said before, they are cheap for a reason. A GOOD CLEAN GTR that actually works, wont be as cheap... but you'll save much much more in the long run

yer i no just was curious but the seller told me he is gettin it fixed cause it was one of the things i noticed wrong with it, well the only thing, so after he gets that fixed its goin up on a hoise for me to see then i do a comp/leak down test and take it from there but im still lookin at few more in process. But is there any importers in the melbourne area??
