What style of numbering do we need? the big ones on the side or like what we had at super lap? Where did you get your big ones for the side from? and how much?

You should see me front bar now she is a bute, very fast looking. The wiring is all finished and she purrs like a kitten again. Watch out. lol

Nice one!

Ryan - Ive got my numbers already from the sprint series I do with another club!

But if you goto a motorcross shop or bike shop, thats what Nick - Intune did last year and got the numbers for the side!

Oh, guys, for those who have entered, let me know, I'll update the first post with your race numbers etc

Hi guys,

i'm interesting in this event. ..... not sure are there any spot left or not (i'll call tomorrow).

i have some question about this event as i don't know much about regulation here (coz i come from oversea)

is r33 gtst really in SV type? .... or could it be in type 1? coz i just have light modify.

another question, is the hillclimb difficult for noob? coz this will be my second track day ...... wanna go home in one piece :O

G'day mate!

Well, there has been a bit of discussion on the classes etc - as our skylines werent (r33) werent locally produced.

I have entered in SVD as so have the other guys here - I dont know why Steve hasnt as I wasnt sure about his supra.

When you call them to see if there are spots left, have a discussion with them about the groups, but worst case just enter SVD and may be able to change on the day?

The hillclimb - Im hoping you have seen the bathurst 1000?

if you see mountain straight - the climb up the hill....there is basically walls everywhere with little to no room for error!

I personally wouldnt do it for my 2nd driving event, even last year when I did it on street tyres, I got a bit taily and my heart went crazy...haha

if you do it at your own pace and know your limits, go for it!

there are still spots left for the weekend

and sugus come a long you just need to take both days at your own pace you are only raceing your self at the end of the day.

just take it easy and find your limets with the car forget about the concret walls as if you are looking at tham you will find one of them

    • Ok I get you. But isn’t the butterfly intake a headache with the +T?  see this is my plan so far but please advise me into the right direction.  Nistune Ecu, 1000cc Bosch injectors, TD05 or TD06 Kinugawa turbo using stock rb25det exhuast manifold, walbro fuel pump unsure of model I think it’s 450/460, spitfire coils and sparks to suit and a R35 MAF sensor and boost sensor.    I was thinking maybe do a cheap eBay plenum $400-500 or try find a stock det neo intake. I think I’d port match it so it’s getting the full capacity but open to advice please.  Thanks
    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG has not responded to my emails so far since purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
