i posted a topic a lil while ago about ttracing and havnt checked back in a while and just now i noticed a few replies so heres a lil update..

after i put my old spark plugs back in a it was running sweet again.. i decided to give them a call and spoke to the boss.. i asked if i could return the spark plugs he sold me as they f*cked my car.. he in turn got angry saying they were now used and worth nothing.

i wasnt really out to get my money back but more to see what he had to say.. and obviously i wasnt happy with his response as he seemed to be VERY protective of his wallet.

The real test in my opinion about the true morals of this workshop would have been the day i picked up the car when it was running rough as and had a tic in the head. the owner made out as if the head needed a rebuild and i could leave it there for them to find out the problem.... so i wonder if i left it there that day if i would have a rebuilt head now...or if they would have said..sorry mate, all we had to do was change the spark plugs.

the car has since ran perfect (appart from changing an AFM last weekend...wonder if that will add to the chit chat lol) and has run a 12.40 down the quarter with 14psi, stock turbos, mines ecu.

in conclusion.. i think lots of workshops will have issues with there customers and vice versa... the trick is to be lucky and do most of the work yourself

so good luck!!

Wrong that they put the incorrect plugs in in the first place

Wrong that they would not remedy their mistake.

Stoopid that the clown actually refused to take them back becuase they were used. Did he think they would stay new. :/

lol not about the money.. its about the customer relations.. the cost of some spark plugs that were hardly used.. against losing customers... maybe he's shitty cause his bf has run back to tell him what's been said

    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.
    • wedding eh.....I seem to get to more funerals than weddings or christenings these days....
    • Yep, cheapest options, neglected and abused. The fastest way to dislike a car is to get assigned that model by a budget rental company
    • The noise complaint could be from absolutely anywhere, and anyone. Get it actually noise level tested to find out if you're actually over, or if you're fine. If you're over, quieten it down. If you're under, carry the test results in the car with you.
