Whistle from Skylines.

I have never driven an R33 before but does it whistle really loud like a R32gtst when you accelerate with a pod filter installed?

My r32 whistles loud as when you take off and people think its the turbo that makes that noise.

Hell yeaaaah!!The R33 definetly whistles, especially when you have a big jap pod like mine. Mine whistles so loud that its even louder than my exhaust! 8O

Took a R33 GTSt for a spin the other day.

Had a massive pod set up.

Was quite funny.

I like the wooshing sound but this one was a bit to much

Must be an awesome induction setup that nissan designed on the skylines.

The 180sx has an induction sound on the pod when accelerating but it never whistled liked a skyline.

The first time I took my car for a drive I thought "Shit that turbo sounds funny". I ain't got a pod filter or nothing though. But damn, soooo nice aaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhh

WHen I first got my skyline I thought that something was wrong with the turbo then another skyline owner told me that it was just a pod filter induction noise. :lol:

When I put my RB20DET in my Navara it did ... and still does turn heads with that gourgess sound ...

On another note, thought some will find this amusing, when I got pulled up in it one night (brake lights were out) and asked to pop the bonnet, all the cop said was air filter, loose battery and thats it! Didn't notice the large NISSAN 24v TWIN CAM badge smack bang in the middle of the cam cover, nor the ceramic turbo decal, nor the fact it was missing a radiator support pannel (its back in now) and had two thermos where the grill is meant to be ...
