Some of u guys r pretty harsh. It was the 1st cruise she had tried to organise. I think for a 1st effort to get around 200 cars was a pretty good effort! Ok so the cruise route maps and fine tuning wasn't there but she can only learn from it and make sure she implements it into the next one. Anyone who has tried to organise a cruise on here or another club for the 1st time knows it takes your own time and research.

Only thing I can suggest for next time is make a plan, stick to your time schedule regardless of who is/isn't there. If you are having raffles, make sure they are over and done with before the cruise leaves so everyone has the same chance of claiming the prize.

If your going to have awards for best dressed cars. Hand out little voting forms.. Gonna be a bitch to count but just one per car and have them write the number plate of the best dressed car on it and hand it back before a certain time. Least it would stop this awwwww but he knew one of the girls and im not coming next time. Not having a go just making a suggestion for HERTBO.

Add directions with your map so if your going cruise in a "loop" then people who don't get out in the 1st group know where they are going. Even hand out maps on the day to the drivers.

All in all I had a really good time, I led people the wrong way and lost everyone for ages but was still a good cruise.

Good luck with your next one and take all these "complaints" as suggestions on how to better organise the next one. I don't think many people on here would have had to organise something so big aside from actual SAU events.

Did any1 else find the video a little ironic that a girl with almost perfect fake boobs was hosting it???

yeh i watched the video, noticed the guy with the gt's said they were there to "promote the cars for their hire service"....n i didnt say they knew one of the girls, i said was related to one of them.....thats probably why on most comps and shit they say u cant enter if ur related! :)

yeah all good... like i said im not having a dig at any1... just trying to make suggestions for her next one. Personally I thought ur car and some of the other SAU cars should have easily won aswell but giver her another chance next year. They can only get better.

nah i know im just sayin its a bit sus, considering as most people have said, there were other better dressed cars, n i dont just mean my own :)

anyways i wasnt havin a go at HERTBO cos it is hard to organize something like that, but still.....

maybe as an idea for next year, hand out maps with a few little directions on them, n then on the other side have a voting form for best dressed car, then

hand them back in at the end of the cruise, somethin like that....

I wanna know what it takes to be a PROMO-GUY..

Starting a group..anybody keen..lmao!!

Was a fun cruise..When's the next Dammit!!

Im unemployed and could use some cash! As long as looks dont come into it too much

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
