Hi Ben,

I have a HKS Workshop Manual which contains a section called "ECU PIN OUT" where there's a section on the HKS S.L.D.

It's all Greek to me, but the Wire Code Box looks exactly like what's below...

S.L.D. WIRE COLOUR > S.L.D. WIRE FUNCTION

Yellow > Speed Sensor Wire to ECU

White > Speed Sensor Wire To Loom

Black > Earth (Ground)

Red > 12V Ignition Feed

PM me for any further info.

Tez

Thanks Terry,

Much appreciated mate.........

Thanks Terry,

Much appreciated mate.........

I have just installed a Greddy Speed Limiter Cut Controller on my Stagea which seems to have the R34 pinout and it went:

power supply: pin 31 or 67

earth: pin 25 or 32

speed sensor pin 29 (cut this wire)

there's a pinout diagram here if you haven't got one:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pi...cu-t112683.html

I don't know what the HKS one looks like but the tricky part with the GReddy one was getting the little toggle switches set right for the car.

Duncan, how much is the HKS speed cut drfrnder roughly??

Mine hit 180 on the dyno last time so If I don more mods, may need to put one in

Hey Bakes, paid $100 for it second hand from a friend. i think they are around the $200-250 mark new.

What was your last dyno reading and mods/boost??

Thanks Rob, much appreciated.. just printed out the diagram, am i going to need to solder these wires or just intertwine them??

* HKS Front Pipe* HKS Cat Back Hi Power Muffler* HKS Pods* HKS EVC* Nismo Fuel Pump* Nismo Fuel Regulator

242AWKW @ 1.2 Bar

Have fitted HKS SPL pipe kit since, so might have 1Kw more now :)

i'd be soldering wires to ensure they won't be comming loose.. and to ensure they make full contact

Yeah fair point! i was hoping you werent going to say that!! lol. Will get it done tomorrow. thanks

It seems that ecu pinout is for the 34's but not the GTR...

If anyone could help me with the r34 gtr ecu pinout it would be much appreciated, as thursday is the track day, i only have tomorrow to fiddle!!!!!!!

Sorry - I didn't realise the GTR was different. have you tried a PM to Terry GT34 who replied to your first post - it seems he has possibly got the answer in his HKS manual?

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
