I think one of my coil packs is dying so I would like someone with an R34 to come around or lend me one to test to be sure.

In an ideal world someone will drop everything, come around now, have no valley cover on their engine already so less to remove to get one off and we could find out for sure fairly quickly.

Given that it's not an ideal world, I could come around and get one off your car from somewhere and bring it back an hour or so later. I live in the Hills area btw and anything in between the two abovementioned scenarios would be fine.

I'm enjoying unemployment atm so I'm free whenever to do this.

Yo adam just tried calling you.... not sure if i can help out but i still have the stock injectors from the Neo RB25 i had in the Cefiro.... the equvilent spitfires were DIS009 or 4 somthing.... buzz me, im happy to pop over, ur just around the corner.

should of got a v8 dont have these problems with real mans cars

Lol, I had to help a friend rebuild the heads on his LS1 a few months ago, did a simple valve change, and it all went down hill when a stupid bolt snapped, ended up landing us with 2 new heads, and 2 days to get the old heads off, new heads on, and set everything up properly...

on a Tuesday and Wednesday night, we had removedthe old heads, cleaned everything spotless, prepped the new heads, mounted, and fitted the heads, rods, rockers, etc.

We still had the issue of 1 missing bolt on the rocker cover, but nothing some bubble gum didn't fix until we got the bolt.

Needless to say, LS1 engines are much easier to work on that RB engines, when you consider they dont have a timing belt because they are old-school push-rod, made life bloody easy, spray lubricant on the rods and through them, stick them into the holes, put the rockers on,and crank the engine by hand to make sure everything moves freely.

Heads off, heads on, new push rods, new rockers, all in 2 nights, and done by a couple of computer nerds.

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
