try 205 on a 9" :P

stretched is for drifting, but for racing id go with fattest tyre possible to fit in ur guard for all the handling you can get

Only if you are going with the best quality tyre you can afford. Meaning that its useless squeezing the widest tyre you can under the guards if its a cheapo tyre, when a smaller top quality tyre will do an equal or most likely way better job.

Also useless using a massive wide tyre on the back if your running a lot of negative camber on the rear, you won't be increasing the tyre contact patch at all

Hypnotik: mate id be quit happy to show u my 265s on the 8" rim, pm me we can meet up to show u as im on the coast.

and ive taken my car around a track and for street tyres they handle fine, nothing psycho but if i wanna have more fun on the track i either put my MT slicks for drags, or my Falken Azenis on my 17" rims...

btw: that pic of the silvia looks hideous, worst looking example of a silvia i have ever seen

You guys have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Especially Hypnotik. It seems you like to talk about things you've neither done nor have experience with. In other words, you're regurgitating misinformation you've been fed without having the first clue what you're on about.

I ran 275's on my 17 x 8's and had no problems. And I'd think twice before suggesting I didn't have enough of the tyre on the track because I have timeslips (read: real world personal experience) to back it up.

Sorry, but i just refuse to meet up with someone like you who obviously has no clue, your last sentence just totally proved that. To think your example of an R33 can even compare to a tough looking S13 such as Nigels, widely considered as the best S13 Silvia in Australia is a joke. The amount of work and engineering gone into that S13 is simply mind blowing, in another world from the majority of imports in Australia with all their bolt on mods (including my car). Your car could never even come close to matching this S13. You just continue hard parking your R33...

Why don't you post up a pic of what you think is a good example of an S13?

Please explain to me what is so wrong that i have previously said... Sounds like you have no clue if you thing that all there is to gaining traction is squeezing the biggest tyres possible under the rear of your car. Oh, those 275's on your car look f**king horrible...

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
