Seatbelt Light Flashing?

My seat belt light is flashing when i have my seatbelt on the light flashes, i take it of and the light stays solid... anyone have any idea what this means?

Could be the SRS System playing up?

It sounds like a fault warning; I think the seatbelts have pre-tensioners. I'm not sure where the fault would show up though? Perhaps in the ECU or as mentioned SRS system (although that has its own fault warning light). Checked the connections to the seatbelt under the seat?

Yeh have checked the connection under the seat... seems fine, i haven't had a real good look though it may have got jammed in a rail and damaged maybe... will have to investigate further. Can't remember if there is a passenger in the front seat will that also set off the no seatbelt light??
