it honestly wouldn't suprise me if they had a defect station posted at the entrance getting cars as they come in.

They were defecting cars in the carpark last year.

Only externally visual defects, ie, bald tires, coolers, too low, wheels to big etc.

and leavin the notice under the windscreen wiper - not just a rumor either i got pinged for being too low in my sss

well my mate got defected at a formal earlier this year by the guys in the black VE ss ute...he said that he will be doing everyone and 24 hours to get off the road.
