Guy, going to use that 2x girl closeup pic as my desktop, very nice (just usual windows theme, until now)

yeah tis warm, but hey its Adelaide. every year we should expect 2 weeks of 39+

my joints prefer the summer without doubt BUT the durogesic morphine patches I take have a side effect for me: sweats

so think of a hot day (duh not hard with yesterdays 45.7) then add in the constant side-effect sweats. yuk, very greasy

we've changed the bedsheets every day for weeks 'cause Im a grot

LOL i heard about the Noarlunga Line getting ruined from the heat.

i almost died yesterday when i went outside, there was a point where it looked cloudy so i bugged my mum to go shopping then, i completely forgot about humidity. last night came out from the hospital about 10pm and OMG it was still friggin hot but thank god for the air con.

had the air con plus a fan on last night lol, it felt soooooo good

To all the blokes working in the heat..Feel your pain!! Injection moulding factory + heat = HOT!!

Hot days are great so long as it cools down enough at night so you can sleep properly! We had our aircon on all night and it really didn't do a whole lot of cooling!! There was cool air coming outta the vents but it just wouldn't cool the place down!!

I don't mind the heat so much. It is ridiculous but its also quite awesome.

Hopefully it encourages some more of this sort of action:

Well I just got home from work (I purposely organised an early start and finish) and have poured myself a large double Johnny Black and Coke full of ice and have plopped myself in front of the TV in 23 degree comfort for the afternoon .... ah the life

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
