Wiper Blades That Lasts

Hey guys, as you all know, Australia is the flattest, oldest and driest continent on Earth.

And we do not get as much precipitation as other countries (with the exception of Queensland).

Yet when the odd rain comes, I find my car's wiper blades all flaked and doesn't do it's job properly.

I consider that quite dangerous when I'm driving in the wet with poor visibility through my windscreen.

I have tried quite a few brands (from mech stores to supercheapauto to eBay) but they all flake out

within a month or 2.

Now I was just wondering how everyone else's wiper blades hold up, are they more durable than

the ones I have used? What brand are they and where do you buy them from?

i bought sum bosch wiperblades form supercheap that didnt have the graphite in them and they so far they have been in the car for about 4 or 5 months and still good.

I get mine for free from work and replace them very couple of months but it is hard to find good ones. They all turn to shit from the aussie sun just like window rubbers and trim rubbers nowadays. Just a fact of life I guess. Blame it on climate change

well thats the beauties of garaging a car......thats why people always state "Always garaged" when they sell.......cause if the sun does that to the rubber blades......imagine the door seals and rubber inside the interior......

but anyhow.....it may also be reflected on what Wiper fluid your using.....hope your not using, straight carwash?

alot of the new Wiper fluids have substances within that prolong the rubber wipers life.....

give that a try on your next replacement.....

and tree sap is BAD for everything.......if you park under trees.
