Here are the pics taken this morning, a bit of (amateur) pp work done in photoshop. Couldn't help myself

It's actually not as low as i thought, it sticks out a bit more then the Dayz that's why it looks lower then it is. Drove it around town/bp/maccas this morning and didn't scrape anything. Basically as long as i remember to slow right down and approach any dip at a slight angle, it's all sweet. Very happy with Norwood Panel Works jobbie too, can't tell the paint difference can you!

haha! i see what you mean. I like my things straight and square like that  so it suits me

Tell you what though, i'm glad i got them to paint the mesh inserts matt black before putting them on. They came in a silver that would have just looked strange.

what was the front bar fitted and painted worth. if you don't mind me asking?

sorry if you already mentioned it didn't find it. did it pretty much bolt on and line up?

It was an insurance jobbie so i don't know final cost. Bar delivered from QLD was about $600. Original Dayz bar was going to cost around $3k from japland.

according to the panel guys it was a bit of a pain to mount but all in all a fairly decent piece of fiberglass. Needed all the connections drilled and bolts put on which delayed things a bit.

oh yeah their bonnets for stagea ..

Vented $770

TJ, are you saying that Blits are doing vented bonnets for the Stagea? I'd love one (eventually) on my s1 if I can get one. And if Blits are doing them, I'd say it's safe to assume they'd be ADR-approved like most of their stuff, right?

ADR Aproved (Australian Design Rules)

NSW RTA Aprroved

very diffrent rules

Bonnetts are adr approved and come with individual no. stamped and papers.

Front bar looks good! sell me your old one!

I've agreed with the Mrs we'll trial this one for a bit because it's still lower then she's comfortable with. Sorry!

pretty sure it would be ADR, because in HPI mag they were giving away a r34 gtt vented hood ADR approved.

got the pic in my inbox somewere, got a pretty wide vent, facing the windsheild. e-mail them see what they can do, i got a nice deal on the whole front setup, just waiting for credit card to rock up then BAM!

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
