Went to see this track around 6 months ago, as it was in its last stages of being finished. Great concept, but I must warn you it is a very short track.

It is a shorter track .... but you are mainly missing straight length.

Wakefield has less elevation change and in my honest opinion less challenging and less exciting,

I drove the tracks back to back one day after the other and I love Marulan's layout.

No one that I have spoken to has not enjoyed their time on this piece of fresh tarmac.

Wakefield will tax your car more but your driving talent less.

Here's the tricks;

1. Dont rely on speed in 3rd gear to help times

2. Dont come off, walls/embankments arent nice to bodywork

3. Remember its not a real track

Easy :P

With that said, its nice to have something different to the usual driving places

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
