I have been asked if I would make some more Nismo style wing struts.

I would need at least six payed orders to make it viable to get some more laser cut, welded powder coated etc.

Delivery would be approx 2-3 weeks from the six orders being payed up.

Cost will be $320.00 per set mailed anywhere in Australia.

I have attached some pic's, let me no what you think.

What do I think? As the owner of an R34 Coupe with the genuine adjustable rear spoiler (factory fitted from new together with several other Nismo options) - and with the car stickered very discreetly from the factory to identify Nismo options are fitted, I am very much amused by cars copiously covered with extravagantly huge -look at me - supermarket bought "Nismo" stickers, and especially so if they are running very poor imitation copies of Nismo product - lol.

Why don't you just call them "your style" wing struts?

lol

Well aren't you my shining knight!

I'm only trying to offer a service, if people take it up all well and good, if not no skin of my nose. I have seen alot of people chasing these me included. They are no longer available, and when they were they sold for $750 plus.

As for the Nismo decals, I also have several Nismo options and my cars apearance is totally my own choice what that has to do with this thread is totally beyond me!

If your interested in the group by, good. If not, go back out to the sand pit with the kiddies.

can you install the wing struts without the plastic covers?

any pics on how to install the wing struts ?

You can install them without the cover as the whole strut is powder coated black.

I do have some fitting instructions that I did a couple of years ago, it's a big file though. If you can PM me your e-mail and I will send them through.

Thanks.

Mate I can stomach spending over 1K per a rim for Nismo LMGT4's but did you ever stop to consider that people may not way to pay over $800 for a product that is clearly not worth that much and the fact that the product is no longer made? I would have snapped these up if I still had my R34. Maybe you should pop down to blockbuster and rent this...

Isn't the idea of this thread, to see who is interested? Oh and by the way yes you are my HERO.

you sir are an absolute fool. The thread title reads... Nismo STYLE struts... because that's what they f*cking are retard! The guy has kindly offered to make some up for people who obviously like them a lot, and at least give people a chance of getting products similar to something that has been discontinued.

f*ck off out of this thread and take your ALTIA kitted 34 somewhere else, cos the kit you sport sure ain't Nismo

Thanks, that's what I thought to.

So do these just slot staright in to the factory wing and bolt onto the boot?

What material do you use for the uprights?

These bolt straight to the factory mounts, unbolt the old and bolt in the new.

They are cut from 5mm aluminium.

Thanks for your interest.

    • The real question is, on some of those wild roads they call highways, how many times did a farmer in an old ute from the early 2000s blaze past you over double lines?   Tassie is a wild and really cool place, and after doing a work related road trip there January of 24, I understand why Targa Tasmania is ran there, and is so tough to do well at! We had a brand new Camry Hybrid that handled quite nicely, and thankfully weren't in an old car, because cresting some of those hills in a 100kmh zone for it to suddenly be like "surprise f**kers, this is a recommended 30kmh hard right turn" wouldn't be pretty. We weren't racing the Camry around, but we weren't slouching in the bends either. But my lord those old farmers know their old clapped out utes, and those roads, as they were absolutely hammering it!   You're also super lucky to make it up to Mt Wellingtong this time of year. It's often road closed with snow/ice! Also, I hope you hit up Salamander Road in Hobart for some insanely good food (I highly recommend the dimly lit Irish pub for a Guiness Pie, or even the bangers and mash!!!)   How long did the Ferry take to get across? I want to do a road trip of Tas on my own time, but I get horrifically sea sick, and I don't want me on the Ferry, just the car 😛
    • So far so good, about 30km on it so far and nothing out of sorts yet thankfully
    • Look at @Kinkstaah's thread on the issue.
    • Hmm not really, I'd say its race car life or modified car life when you make 3 or 4 times the power Nissan designed the car for lol.
    • I'll let others with more breakage chime in, but I can't think of anyone who had a problem with the standard centre plate before they had a problem with the standard gears - the plate generally just gets replaced for safety when the gearset is upgraded. As for the gearsets, its not like they are OK at 600Nm and break at 601. Their longevity is a combination of how much torque you are making and how gentle you are on shifts (or not).
