I fit them under 17s, but it was very close and the 17s were a generous fit (internal diameter is what matters here)

poor quality pic, but you can see how close the caliper is:

excellent choice for the price in either 330 or 356, they both use the same caliper and pads, just different disc and caliper mount.

356 by the looks of it, But be warned, with that sort of clearance a simple rock may end up machining your wheel and damaging your rotor...plus the Wedsport wheels typically are pretty good for brake clearance, with their cast wheels being similar to forged wheels for their ID clearance. For instance i can promise you that Work WD9s, AVS Model 5 and Model 6 wheels will not go remotely close to clearing the brakes in Duncan's picture

yeah 356, and as Roy said the weds have great clearance for 17s....there is about 2mm between caliper and wheel, and this is a track only car. I also had trouble fitting 330m g4s under AVS 17s on my stagea (had to take the wheel weights off lol).

anyway....I think JJ's recommendation is spot on - don't buy the 356 unless you are running 18" wheels (unless you are certain you have wheels that clear them)

sorry mate, not sure and the car with the 356s is not nearby. I saw a post earlier about them not fitting under 18s...pretty surprised about that given we slipped them under 17s.

I'd suggest getting someone nearby and trying your wheels over them....but I guess there are not many gtrs with 356s in wagga.

BTW, very late, but yes roy they are the 356 in the pic above.

Well i guess that's the thing, i havnt bought wheels or the brakes. Just trying to work our what it will / wont fit under i guess. I wanted to try squeeze it under Work XD9s 18x10 +18 .. however i have been told that these have 400mm of internal clearance (from work). Feel free to let me know if you find out their total diameter! Cheers :worship:

I'd talk to Darron at Just Jap and ask what he thinks. 18" should be ok, and if not you can always adjust the bracket or remove a little caliper if its close to fitting.

I cant see how 400 is not enough clearance for 356 + caliper, maybe someone who has the brakes nearby can check how far the caliper hangs off the disc, surely only 10-20mm

Alright i shall give him a call tomorrow sometime and see what he thinks.

Yep well work said "The XD9 inside diameter is only 400mm, we think they will not clear."

I assume this is the measurement from the bottom to the top of the rim behind the spokes.. and if so it might fit.. *fingers crossed*

    • Agree! I still believe I have the quietest 400kW+ R33 in Australia.
    • ah gotcha ill go remeasure again, thanks for all the tips. when i measured the TPS 5v reference voltage, i put my multimeter leads on 5v power and strut tower bolt, it gave me 5v with boost sensor disconnected and with boost sensor connected it gave me 1.4v. ill try remeasure again this time with volt meter both on the 5v reference and TPS signal ground wire.
