That should get me through for a bit. People at Holden look at you as though you're the scum of the earth when you ask to borrow a tool

Quoted again for pure epicness!! That's f**king sweeeeeeeeeeeeet

Not actually me playing, but this is the pain I'm going through right now, my arm is killing me.

f**k yeah...... not into them but I'm diggin that. I'm relearning the as daylight dies by killswitch at the moment, not too hard or anything, it just seems that I've forgotton how to play most of it when I used to dominate it.

Hope all goes well with your two miso, so guessing soon the 32 will be non registered track car?

Still Beats Your Name had some fun parts in it. That whole album seems to be hey let's throw a pinch harmonic in here.

John, I am going to steal that tool box. Well, I won't, but my dodgy cousin Igor will.

Dan, rego for 32 gets paid tomorrow, so that means 6 more months of road driving, but the budget is getting tight, so we shall see. might have to go back to workin in prisons. ghey

Hylian, don't think we've met. so far everything is ok, but being 4 weeks early, still need to be monitored for a week or two. can't wait to get them home.

Miso, hope you get your Mini-Misos home soon. At least Marisa is out of the hospital

Dodgy cousin Igor sounds like a top bloke. I'll be sure not to show him my toolbox.

He's more of a cheap wheels kinda guy, but, as the economy is getting tougher, he is happy to diversify his business port folio.

Winrar!

f**kin winrar. If I ever end up with a garage of my own and or 4k to dump on tools this is what I'll be doing. I won't use them but tools are so much fun to buy. Its like stationery...only less gay.

Hai Guyz,

Scott asked me to poast this today, but I was busy, and then I forgot :whistling:

Sorry Scott.

Laserforks closed tomorrow after 4pm due to renovations. Will be open as usual next week. Anyone know another lazer place?

Or postpone till next week?

Also @John: Nice Tools

No idea on other place. Too late by now just postpone it for now?

I had it bookmarked until You blokes decided you were gonna go play space cadets instead so I took the other option, Inserting 600 hp between the trembling towers of the chair.

Eat ice cream or power up baby....Tuff choice aye.

I know which one I'd choose  What turbo did you end up getting Noel? Sticking with the 35r or have you had enough of them?

mmmmmm....

Hope everything goes well and you get them home soon :) Have you got names for them yet? Des and Troy?

Morning Mangs,

He's more of a cheap wheels kinda guy, but, as the economy is getting tougher, he is happy to diversify his business port folio.

Understandable.

So true. Speaking of stationary, where's my stamp?

Yeah just msg'd Scott, postpone PhazerPhun for this week.

We really need to try and actually organise it for next week I think.

I know which one I'd choose

So do I... :bunny:

Hot.

That's what she said.

Des and Troy?

RB and Powah

Oh and Morning Mangs!

TFIT? >_<

Thursday is almost as good as friday.

So who's going to buy me a 2012 GTR?

When I make my 15th Million, I'll buy you one

Off to steal a car from Martin's work

Successful theft was successful! :ninja:

Orly? Should have given me a buzz, would have come said hi.

Morning,

Just got a new job offer this morning. More money, less responsibility and a bigger, better venue to work at. Got to love that :)

Nice!

oh cool 1 out of my 6 staff are here, WTF. there shalll be mass performance plans in coming weeks me thinks.

What do you do where such mass absenteeism takes place? I can't think of many businesses that wouldn't shut down if no one showed up...

Government. So we wont shut down but we will fail to meet targets by a long way, example, The Act dictates that 80% of renewals need to be done within 30 days. In the last 3 months these numpties acheived 22%. They are understaffed by 2 positions but i still would have expected 65% to 70% done.

Much butt kicking has ensured we are on target this month....but it would seem butt kicking makes the staff run away. However there is a frame work to fix all that by firing if performance plans are not adhered to, I have just started that process so Im guessing attendance will be much better!

So true. Speaking of stationary, where's my stamp?

Contract Manager is scrutinising all stationery orders atm. We've spent 7k on stationery so far....this year.

So who's going to buy me a 2012 GTR?

Shotty not.

Sounds like a win win. What do you do?

Sack the lot of em. I need to start drafting up my performance agreement for 2011 >_< I hate doing those things.

    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
